COLUMBUS, Ohio — Though it doesn’t come as much of a surprise, one of the most prominent traditions in the sport will be featured in EA Sports’ College Football 25.

The Script Ohio performed by the Ohio State marching band is part of the gameplay experience. A glimpse of it was included in Wednesday’s release from EA Sports which dove into the sights and sounds of the game.

From runouts to mascots, the latest release showed how some of the most recognizable traditions in the sport are incorporated into the video game – which will be released on July 19, marking the end of a 10-year drought without a new edition.

The release also showed how crowds and popular chants were added to the experience. Included is the, “O-H-I-O” chant. However, it wasn’t a simple process to get it added.

For schools that EA Sports wasn’t able to visit, chants were recreated at the company’s Orlando studio. Employees went to the top of a parking garage and yelled various chants repeatedly until the pace and accuracy were perfected. It took 11 sessions to complete the 220 chants.

The sights and sounds release was the second in a four-day series from EA. Tuesday, it was revealed Ohio Stadium is viewed as the fourth-toughest place to play.

Thursday, top offenses and defenses were be revealed before overall team power rankings come out on Friday.
