Four-star quarterback commits to Oklahoma as Ohio State’s search for 2026 signal-caller continues

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Four-star quarterback Jaden O’Neal, the No. 64 overall prospect and No. 6 quarterback in the 2026 class, chose Oklahoma on Monday afternoon, continuing Ohio State’s search for a signal-caller in the class.

O’Neal received an offer from the Buckeyes on June 17 after a recruiting camp on campus, that offer wasn’t enough to sway him from a pledge to the Sooners. The news certainly wasn’t unexpected, meaning that it’s just a continuation of the news about the future of Ohio State’s quarterback room.
