The Episcopal Church Women of the Church of the Ascension in Lakewood will host the annual Cookie Walk from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 10 in the undercroft of the church at 13216 Detroit Ave. in Lakewood.
This event features an array of homemade cookies. As many as 40 varieties will be available, including springerle, almond crescents, rum nutmeg logs and kolachky. Cookies will be priced at $9 per pound.
On top of that, however, guests can purchase bologna, cheese, burgundy wine jelly and other holiday items. Proceeds benefit outreach programs of the Episcopal Church Women.
