Happy New Year, Lakewood -- almost!

Catie Curtis, a Boston-based folk artist, will headline the New Year's Eve show at the Winchester, 12112 Madison Ave. The show kicks off at 9 p.m. Dec. 31.

Avenue Tap House, 18206 Detroit Ave., is hosting its Winter Wonderland New Year's Eve party from 9 p.m. to close Dec. 31. Three Olives Vodkas and Flavors will host the event and $50 will get you a steady supply of their drinks all night long. Tricky Dick and the Cover Ups will bring the music.

Around the Corner, 18616 Detroit Ave., is hosting a New Year's Eve party with no cover charge from 8 p.m. to close Dec. 31. The party will include a balloon drop and free party favors. At midnight, everyone will join in a champagne toast.
