CLEVELAND, Ohio --  Greater Cleveland Volunteers enriches the community and individuals through volunteer services. We recruit individuals age 18 years+ to volunteer at over 100 nonprofit organizations throughout Cuyahoga County.

We offer one-time, on-going and short-term volunteer opportunities.

Here are a few featured volunteer opportunities. Have an interest and don't see it? Call us and a volunteer coordinator can assist.

Magic! Hospital Magician: Performs magic 1-on-1 at kids' bedsides at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital. Volunteer will teach a child one magic trick.  No experience is necessary.  You must attend Magic University one evening a week for 12 weeks.  After training, commitment is 1 year of service every other week on Tuesday or Thursday evenings for 2-2/12 hours.  Must have consistent schedule. Art Instructors: If you're an artist can you share your talents and experiences with students and/or residents in senior living facilities? We have four partner agencies seeking artists/crafters to demonstrate various methods. Flexible schedule. Various locations. Contact Lynette 216-391-9500 x 123 or [email protected]

Data Specialist: If you have experience with data entry on Google (sheets, forms, form publisher) a local nonprofit needs support. Strong computer skills and organization. Ability to work well independently. Volunteer should have access to their personal laptop. High interest in helping the refugee population in Cuyahoga County. Contact Jan 216-391-9500 x 124. Grant Writing: Several nonprofit agencies in Cuyahoga County are seeking volunteers to write grants. Various locations. Grant-writing experience necessary. Contact Nadine at 216-391--9500 x 122 or [email protected]

Summer Program Volunteers:  Ready Readers Plus Assistant: read to the children, listen to them read and discuss afterwards. Gym Instructor Assistant:  Help with daily planned sports and fitness program or drop-in activities. Helping to Coach basketball and fitness program and possibly baseball.
