CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Greater Cleveland Volunteers enriches the community and individuals through volunteer services. We recruit individuals age 18 years+ to volunteer at 100+ nonprofit organizations throughout Cuyahoga County.
We offer on-going and special event volunteer opportunities.

On-Going
Deliver meals to those in need - Help provide meals to homebound seniors. Drivers needed to deliver meals, as well "jumpers" - passengers who deliver and check in on the seniors. Drive your own vehicle. There is a set route and time, but days are very flexible. To learn more, contact Sandy at 216-391-9500 x 120 or [email protected].
Sales associate - Assist customers with purchases at east or west side home improvement stores that sells donated building materials. Help with inventory assistance and administrative support. Needed Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or Wednesday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For more information, contact Sandy at 216-391-9500 x 120 or [email protected].
Birders wanted - An east side nature center seeks volunteers to help track birds at their facility. Flexible days with a commitment of two hours per day. Knowledge of birds or bird recognition is preferred. To learn more, contact Cecille at 216-391-9500 x 122 or [email protected].
Prepare students for modern-day challenges - Empowering Youth Exploring Justice) Help keep young people engaged in school by building positive behaviors that help them succeed. Volunteer speakers lead discussion topics pertaining to self-confidence and values in 6th-8th grade classes in CMSD. A 90-minute commitment is required. Theatre: If you enjoy theatre a newly renovated Performing Arts Center in the University Circle area is seeking volunteer ushers. You would; take tickets, assist with seating, distribute programs, help those in wheelchairs and/or direct the crowd flow. Free parking and free admission to the event you are ushering.
