Nicky Zimmermann's eponymous fashion line seems tailor-made for endless summer days spent in Australia. On Sydney's oceanfront, this seaside town is packed with juice shops, cool cafés and bars with beach views and laid-back soundtracks. Here is the designer's pick of things to do on Bondi Beach…

Here, she gives us a lowdown of her perfect day running around Bondi. Her morning pitstop is at Porch, the coffee shop that makes some of the best healthy and yummy food (a Bondi speciality).

For shopping, she recommends Playa, a jewellery shop run by an ex-Melbourne resident. "It's beautifully curated," she explains.

When it comes to chilling out, North Bondi is the place to be. "It's where my friends hangout, it's where my children hang out," Nicky says. "And I think most locals would recommend the walk from Bondi to Bronte and back. It's not physically demanding, but it's beautiful."

When you get hungry again, head to Sean's Panorama: a quirky restaurant with incredible produce and menus that change constantly. "Right across the road are the beautiful rolling waves," she says.
