Boulder County dispatchers received a report of a grass fire near Niwot High School around 5 p.m. Thursday.
Firefighters found flames about five feet high in an area about 100 feet by 8 feet next to a creek. They put out the firejust after 5:30 p.m.
No structures were affected by the fire, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
