Volunteers will re-enact what they thik life was like for European settlers in the pioneer days from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Boulder County Parks and Open Space’s Walker Ranch Homestead, 7701 Flagstaff Road.

Participants of all ages can take this free journey through cultural history from the late 1800s.

People in costume will talk about what life was like for the settlers and hold activities such as blacksmith demonstrations, butter churning, log house cooking, old-fashioned laundry and games.
