Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Bieber are expecting their first child together!! The couple announced the news on Hailey's Instagram on Thursday, sharing a sweet video as well as pictures from a professional photo shoot featuring what looks to be a vow renewal between the pair.
Hailey and Justin have been very open about wanting to have kids and wanting have them young (Justin is 29 and Hailey is 27), and Hailey talked about starting a family back in 2021. “We always knew that we were aligned on what we wanted in our future,” she told ELLE “We had talked about wanting to be married young and having a family young and building a life. Even before we knew we wanted to be with each other.”
In Hailey's Instagram announcement, she and Justin are seen kissing amid what looks like a vow renewal, with Hailey in a white dress that resembles her wedding gown. The video and subsequent photos show Hailey with a noticeable baby bump, and in the Instagram caption itself, Hailey merely tagged Justin.
In December 2020, Ellen DeGeneres asked Justin super directly about Justin's take on kids by saying, “How many kids are you going to have and when?” (FYI Ellen got slammed for her, uh, direct approach here.)
“I am going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out,” Justin answered. “I'd love to have myself a little tribe. But, yeah, it's her body and whatever she wants to do...I think she wants to have a few.” He then added that “Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman, and I think...she's just not ready yet. And that's okay.”
Hailey has definitely accomplished a huge amount since, including the launch of her successful skincare line Rhode.
