We love a good sports documentary on Netflix, and the latest one to capture our attention and evenings (we may have binge watched in one sitting) is America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. The seven part docu-series takes viewers behind the scenes of the journey it takes to become one of the cheerleaders in one of America's biggest NFL teams, from the tough audition process, to the challenging training camp, to making the final cut. And along the way we get to meet a number of the cheerleaders and hear their stories, and if you've been wanting to learn more about the cheerleaders, then here's where you need to follow them on Instagram.

When the series begins Victoria is a fourth-year veteran competing for another chance at joining the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) and is also eyeing up the position of group leader.

Anna Kate is from Missouri and she's entering the series as a rookie, hoping to get a place in the DCC. Like Victoria, she has a family connection to the team as her sister Caroline was also part of the DCC.

Anisha is an orthodontist, who used to be a dance member for the Golden State Warriors. She's seen impressing the judges during the auditions in the first episode.

Charly is a rookie candidate for this year's DCC auditions and she went to university in Arizona and has a background in ballet.

Madeline is a third year veteran auditioning for another chance at being on the squad when the docu-series kicks off. Madeline already has a connection to the DCC as her mother Shannon Hall Salter was a cheerleader during the late 1980s.
