Queen Camilla's birthday: Prince and Princess of Wales lead the well wishes for the King's wife as she turns 77

The Prince and Princess of Wales have and the royal family have led the wishes to the Queen as she turns 77 today.
The official royal family social media accounts were the first to wish Her Majesty a happy birthday, with both the Instagram and X accounts sharing photos of Camilla with the caption: 'Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very Happy Birthday today!'.
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a photo shortly after of Her Majesty in her garden at home in Raymill in Wiltshire.
The snap was taken by Kate Middleton to mark Camilla's 75th birthday two years ago, and was on the cover of Country File magazine, which Her Majesty was guest-editing.
'Wishing Her Majesty a very Happy Birthday!' they wrote.
Her Majesty, who has spent the last two days in the Channel Islands as part of an official visit with King Charles, will celebrate the milestone as she prepares to attend the State Opening of Parliament.
Hundreds of royal wishers took to X - formerly Twitter - to wish the royal a happy birthday.
'Happy birthday to #QueenCamilla. She can't have imagined all those years ago when she was living quietly in Wiltshire that one day she would be crowned, robed and enthroned at a State Opening on her 77th birthday,' one fand said.

Camilla's big day has coincided with political pageantry which will see the King and Queen travel in a carriage procession to the House of Lords, where Charles will deliver the second King's Speech of his reign.
The Queen was spotted with a bandage on her right foot while visiting Guernsey on Tuesday during the royal couple's whirlwind tour to the Channel Islands.
She was also holding a closed umbrella, despite the sunshine, and appeared to be using it for a little extra support.
The Queen was said to have suffered a slight ankle sprain at some stage on Monday when she was carrying out engagements on Jersey.
But it is understood she still plans to attend the State Opening today.
It will require Camilla to scale the 26 steps of the royal staircase at the Sovereign's Entrance before moving into the Robing Room and then processing at the King's side through the Royal Gallery and the Lords Chamber ahead of taking their seats on their thrones.
She could however opt to take the lift like the late Queen - missing out the royal staircase.

In 2016 - the year she turned 90 - Queen Elizabeth II used the lift rather than stairs for the first time to enter Parliament for the State Opening, with the modest adjustment made for her comfort due to knee pain
Gun salutes will be fired in celebration of Camilla's anniversary as is the tradition.
But this year they will follow those marking the King's arrival at the Sovereign's Entrance of the Lords which signals the State Opening of Parliament has begun.
The second 41-gun salute for Camilla, also by the King's Troop Horse Artillery in Green Park, will be staged shortly after the first batch, following a brief pause.
There will also be rounds fired at the Tower of London.
The Queen, formerly the Duchess of Cornwall and Camilla Parker Bowles, was born Camilla Rosemary Shand on July 17 1947.
She married Charles, then-Prince of Wales, in 2005 after a relationship that spanned more than 30 years.
The pair have faced a difficult year with the King being diagnosed with cancer after surgery on his prostate in January, and then Charles's daughter-in-law the Princess of Wales also being treated for the disease.

The Queen was dubbed the monarchy's "saviour" and praised for keeping "the show on the road" in the King's absence while he was away from public-facing duties until April this year.
Camilla has carved out her own royal role through charity work, championing literacy, and highlighting the problem of domestic abuse and sexual violence.
She became Queen when Charles acceded to the throne in 2022, and she was secretly nursing a broken toe when she carried out her first duties as the new Queen consort.
She was crowned at her husband's side during their coronation in 2023.
Yesterday, Queen Camilla received a thoughtful birthday gift from a group of schoolchildren in Guernsey today as she concluded her tour of the Channel Islands with King Charles.
The royal received a poster filled with wishes from primary school pupils at Sark School in Les Cotils at L'Hyvreuse, in Saint Peter Port, wishing her many happy returns.
The children also gifted her a map of Guernsey which had their school pinpointed on it.
Dressed in royal blue for her tour of the island, which followed Their Majesties' trip to Jersey on Monday, Camilla proudly held up the poster and beamed while excited schoolchildren looked on.
While the Queen carried out her engagements this afternoon, royal fans noticed she was sporting a bandage on her ankle.
Aides said she has suffered an 'slight ankle sprain' while on neighbouring Jersey - where the heavens opened for the royal visit - yesterday.
The white dressing was clearly visible as she and King Charles arrived in St Peter Port to be greeted by huge crowds and blue skies.
The elegant royal sported low heels with a royal blue silk crepe dress and coat by Fiona Clare but appeared to be leaning on an umbrella as she walked.
Despite the apparent minor injury, Queen Camilla looked delighted to be on Guernsey soil this morning, not least because the sun was shining.
Admiring one lady’s flat shoes she said: ‘I wish I had a pair of those.’
She explained that she had caught her heel as she was walking and ‘pulled the ligament’. ‘It’s quite sore,’ she said.
She also referred to her birthday tomorrow saying that she wouldn’t have the chance to put her foot up and rest it as she will be at the State Opening of Parliament.
