Bride slammed as 'insufferable' after sending 'wild demands' to her party ahead of the big day - and they're only getting worse: 'Dump her'

A bride to-be has been slammed as 'delusional' for asking her bridesmaids to spend thousands of dollars to be a part of her 'wedding of the century'.

The bride had grand visions of the perfect Insta-worthy wedding and wasn't shy about being the star of her own fairytale, or about asking her friends - and sponsors - to help her pay for it.

The non-negotiable demands, which were posted to Reddit, asked the bridesmaids to 'step up' their game in the lead up to the 'Luxe Boho Glam' nuptials - with preparations starting many months before.

'Welcome to the beginning of my wedding journey, I'm thrilled to have you all along for the ride, but let's be clear, this is my day and everything needs to be perfect,' the bride said.

'I know what I want and I won't settled for anything less, get ready to follow my lead and make this the most fabulous day ever - this isn't just a wedding, it's basically the met gala.'

The bride also added that as her wedding announcement 'blew up' online, she had secured some 'amazing brand deals to cover a lot of the stuff we need'.

'So guess what? You all get to be part of some sponsored content, yep, that means you'll be helping out with some fab brand collabs with me.'

She first demanded weekly one hour zoom progress meetings, in addition to everyone meeting at a private member's club every Tuesday.

Then there was a weekend of luxury dress fittings with 'no skips allowed'. The bride told everyone to expect to spend approximately $700 on champagne brunches, hotel rooms and travel.

The bridesmaid's beauty routines were also outlined - with each of them asked to shell out for one of the sponsors luxury $1,200 beauty boxes.

Next was the 'safari barbie' themed engagement party, followed by a spa weekend with rooms costing $500 each - with the bride happy to cover the cost of the limousine only.

The packed and pricey itinerary continued with the girls then jetting off to Ibiza for 'bachelorette party number one'.

'Mother in law is leading the charge and will send Venmo requests soon so you guys can budget,' the bride said.

There was an added $400 fee for each bridesmaid to have their hair styled by a celebrity hairdresser who was being flown in for the big day - with an extra $1,200 optional fee if anyone wanted extensions.

The bridesmaids were also expected to buy the bride a gift, which she felt she deserved for all her hard planning - and to throw her the 'perfect' bridal shower.

'It needs to be elegant, chic and totally Instagrammable; think designer decorations and gourmet catering, make sure it's perfect, this is your responsibility to handle and make amazing,' she said.

There was one last trip for final dress fittings and then a reminder to set aside another $1000 for the wedding weekend itself, which promised to be amazing.

People slammed the bride for her 'entitled and narcissistic' behaviour with one saying the list should be titled 'how to lose friends in one page'.

They thought the financial demands on the bridesmaids were outrageous - especially when the bride already had several luxury brand sponsors.

'She expects the best on everyone else’s dime,' one woman said.

Others couldn't believe that the bridesmaids had to pay for products from the sponsors themselves, and then also help to promote them.

'She explicitly told them she's getting special deals, but she's keeping them to herself apparently,' another woman said.

Some people said the cost was one thing, but that it was 'horrible' how much time the bridesmaids were expected to set aside for planning every week, for months leading up to the big day.

'The minute I read weekly one hour check in meeting I would have been out. I don't do that s*** for my actual job, let alone this bankruptcy in the making,' one woman said.

While everyone was shocked by the bride's demands, one woman said she had to admire her for going after what she wanted.

'I wish I had her gumption.'
