With a cashmere-like quality, the LA-based brand's shirts have not surprisingly been seen on the likes of Gisele Bunchen, Beyoncé, Gigi Hadid, Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner (and more!).
Raising the bar on what to expect from flannel fashions, FEMAIL chats with Rails owner/designer Jeff Abrams about all things tartan.

'When I launched Rails, I noticed that the contemporary shirting market was dominated by stiff cotton fabrications,' says Jeff.
Focusing on shirting as a timeless category, he spent time developing a unique tencel/rayon blend with a cashmere like hand-feel, and a feminine silhouette with the wearability of an everyday top.
'I wanted to add an element of indulgence to shirting that you can throw on for a trip to the supermarket, or just as easily pair with a clutch and stilettos for a night out,' he says.

While new colorways are created each season, 'A traditional plaid with red undertones like our Hunter in midnight/garnet (above) and a versatile neutral like our Hunter in white/indigo melange are timeless selections,' says Jeff.
For something new this fall, the designer suggests blue. 'It’s refreshing and pairs well with autumnal hues like burnt orange.'
With '90s grunge seeing a huge resurgence in popularity, flannels (regardless of shade) are more on trend now than ever before.

'The casual element is an important part of our collection, but what’s great is the versatility of our garments,' says Jeff.
'Our shirts act as layering pieces and can be worn open, layered with a tank or tied around the waist. They can be buttoned up under a sweater for a sophisticated look or layered under a leather jacket with skinny jeans for a more downtown feel,' he explains.
'We’ve been very lucky to see a number of amazing celebrities and influencers wearing Rails,' says Jeff. Kate Hudson has been spotted multiple times in the brand

From Hollywood A-liters to editors and bloggers, style stars cannot get enough of this brand.
'We’ve been very lucky to see a number of amazing celebrities and influencers wearing Rails,' says Jeff. 'Celebrity culture has been an integral part of our business and growth, but I get more enjoyment now from seeing more anonymous girls wear them in their everyday life.'
To make products more personal for the label's loyal followers, Rails now offers monogramming on tencel denim shirting, their PJ capsule and denim jackets.
