Support: Lady Gaga said she speaks to Kesha every day
Lady Gaga is continuing to support Kesha and has shared some depressing truths about the music industry.
The Artpop singer has spoken about Kesha’s current situation of being locked into her recording contract against her wishes after accusing its founder and her producer, Dr Luke, of sexual misconduct and abuse.
“People should know that there is so much more than meets the eye in a case like that. It’s so deceiving when you read about contracts and what people owe each other in terms of power and records,” Gaga told 97.1 AMP Radio.
“The truth is I feel like she’s being very publicly shamed for something that happens in the music industry all the time to women and men.
"I just want to stand by her side because I can’t watch another woman that went through what I have been through suffer, and have everyone have a go at her as if she’s lying.
"I talk to her every day, I’m friends with her personally, and what I’m watching her go through is not only something I’ve been through but something that’s really devastating to witness.” —digitalspy.co.uk

Jimmy Kimmel to host Emmys
TV host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel has been announced as the host for the 68th Emmy Awards later this year.
ABC’s Good Morning America had the exclusive on Monday, as Kimmel returns to host the Emmys for the second time on September 18.
He had previously fulfilled the role back in 2012, incidentally the last time that ABC broadcast the event (broadcasting rights are rotated between ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox).
“I am hosting the #Emmys on Sunday Sept 18,” the TV host tweeted to his followers on Monday, confirming the announcement.

Amber dates a Raptor
Love is back in the air for Amber Rose.
E! News has learned that the 32-year-old model is dating Toronto Raptors basketball player Terrence Ross.
“They have been seeing each other since All-Star Weekend in February,” a source tells E! News.
“It’s very early in the relationship and he’s very young, so she is just having fun,” the insider adds.
“She likes hanging out with boys who she can have fun with and that’s what Terrence is to her. I don’t think it will develop into anything serious, they are just enjoying getting to know one another.”
