Walesa, 78, looked just like Bono in his fluorescent coloured glasses during a ceremony in northern Poland on Monday night.
Despite the ceremony taking place in the evening, Walesa decided to add a spot of colour to his grey outfit by adding the orange sunglasses.
The resemblance between Walesa and Bono, who has worn his trademark orange glasses for decades, was uncanny.

Walesa was attending a ceremony in Gdansk, northern Poland, marking the 40th anniversary of the imposition of martial law in the country.
On 13 December 1981, the communist government of the Polish People's Republic drastically restricted every day life by introducing martial law in and a military junta in an attempt to counter political opposition, in particular the Solidarity trade union which was founded by Walesa.
For 18 months, until July 1983, Poles lived with curfews, dead phone lines and armed troops and tanks on the streets.
Walesa and other officials on Monday laid flowers and lit candles under the monument at the shipyard where the former leader used to work.

Walesa was a key figure in Poland's transformation from a member of the Soviet bloc to an independent post-communist nation.
An engineer and electrician by trade, shortly after beginning work at the shipyard in Gdansk, Poland, which was then known as Lenin Shipyard, he came a vocal dissident and worker rights campaigner, and established the Soviet bloc's first trade union, Solidarity.
Walesa's staunch advocacy of worker rights led to him being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983 and he was later President from 1990 to 1995, where he helped oversee the country's transition through privatization and to a free-market economy.
