A Chilean TikToker is raising eyebrows after claiming she is having a hard time landing a date.

The reason? Michelle Peint believes her striking beauty is scaring away men.

The content creator, who has more than 271,000 followers on the social media app, made headlines last month when she broke down why she was having problems finding Mr. Right.

'I want to talk about how difficult it is for me to find a partner when I'm pretty,' she opened up in the video, titled 'The Curse of Being Beautiful,' which has been viewed more than 19 million times.

'It is very difficult for a man to approach me and talk to me,' Peint said, before going into details of an encounter with a man who was not too certain about striking a conversation with her.

'One time, I dared to ask the guy, do you like me or did I draw your attention, why didn't you approach me and he told me this … just look at yourself and look at me. You look super unattainable. I was like what?' she said.

The small business owner shared that people usually tell her that her Instagram mailbox should certainly be filled with requests from guys lining up to ask her out and that she should 'have a date every day' because of her attractiveness.

'And literally the only person I talk to the most on WhatsApp is my mom,' Peint countered.

'And when a man approaches me, he is usually too shy. Very, very shy or you can tell that he is nervous talking to me,' she said. 'They also tell me a lot that you are very pretty, they must tell you that very often. No!'

The end result, Peint believes, is that 'beautiful women' find themselves linking with men who are 'not as pretty as' them.

Michelle Peint has the following advice for men who don't want to approach women who they believe are too pretty and will reject them: 'If you see a pretty girl, you like her, she catches your attention, don't be self-conscious. Ask her for her Instagram, ask her for her number, write to her and she is the one who will make the decision to tell you, look yes, let's talk or not'

'Because these types of men are the ones who dare, the ones who have more personality and the ones who are not ashamed to be themselves,' she said. 'A lot of confidence you could say or self-love.'

Her solution to 'dateless' dilemma is to remind men that it is OK to approach women who are as pretty as her.

'So, I want to call on all those guys. If you see a pretty girl, you like her, she catches your attention, don't be self-conscious,' she advised. 'Ask her for her Instagram, ask her for her number, write to her and she is the one who will make the decision to tell you, look yes, let's talk or not, I'm not interested.

'I feel like they take the step of I'm going to dare to write to you and well, let's see what happens,' she added. 'If the woman rejects you, that's fine, you tried. But you tried. Don't be drawn away by appearances.'
