Newly released footage from an airport showed the moment a 'drunk' man was tackled to the ground after he began causing a ruckus at the baggage claim line.

The man, wearing a salmon-pink shirt, can be seen speaking to another man right before attempting to punch him at the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

The other man quickly swerves to avoid the punch and instead pulls the allegedly drunk man's head in a chokehold before flipping him over.

As both men fall to the ground, the male, believed to be intoxicated, is seen fighting the other man as a security guard intervenes and tries to pull them apart.

After a few seconds of tussle and conversation, the traveler walks away from the salmon-pink shirt man as he yells that he wants to press charges.

The inebriated adult is heard repeatedly saying, 'What is your name? I wanna press charges!' as the guard helps him collect his things.

As the crowd begins to move away from the scene, another blue-shirt wearing man can be heard telling the man to 'move on'.

In another video shared by a TikToker who goes by @tiffuponastar, the blue-shirt wearing man is seen holding the intoxicated male's arms close to his own chest and assuring him to 'calm down' and 'not worry about it' as he continues to demand knowing his 'attacker's' name.

But the man breaks lose and begins to walk in the same direction as his 'attacker' before being held back by a flight attendant.

By the end of the video, multiple people including the blue-shirt wearing man and the attendant can be seen trying to calm him down.

The TikTok which has garnered over 500,000 views has users joking about their 'first beer' and praising the man who helped control the man from creating a bigger ruckus.

'I remember when I had my first beer lol,' one viewer joked.

While another appraisingly said: 'My fave part of blue shirt guy is that he prob doesn’t want airline staff to get involved bc they might get in trouble. So this man handled it and takes the heat.'

A TikToker also added: ' I get wrestler or BJJ vibes from blue shirt guy. The way he knew to control the hands & was so calm confident.'

One of the viewers also suggested placing a maximum drinks allowed limit at the airport to avoid such incidents.

'I'm sorry but there should be a three drink minimum in the airport and if they come in drunk bartenders security should be able to assess that,' a user said.

While another suggested: 'Alcohol at airports should be replaced with weed.'

It remains unclear if an investigation has been launched into the incident by the police or airport officials.
