Trump thanks son Barron for 'record-breaking' stream interview with Adin Ross... and reveals blockbuster interview with Elon Musk next week

Former President Donald Trump heaped praise on his son Barron for coordinating an interview with a Gen Z streamer that 'set an all time record' for views.

In a wide-ranging 1.5-hour-long appearance with popular Kick host Adin Ross, 23, at Mar-a-Lago on Monday, the former president talked politics, music and issues impacting the youngest generation of voters.

Ross gifted the president a Rolex watch, a Diet Coke (Trump's favorite soda) and a Tesla cybertruck wrapped in an image of Trump pumping his fist after his near-assassination.

Trump joked that he only agreed to do the interview with Ross because he's friends with his youngest son, Barron, 18.

And it seemingly paid off for the former president, 78, seeking to influence younger Americans.

The antic-filled interview between the Gen Z influencer, who boats millions of devoted followers, and the former president 'exploded' online, Trump boasted Tuesday on Truth Social.

'Wow!!! Adin Ross Interview yesterday exploded, but in a very positive way!' he wrote on his Truth Social.

'Platform set an all time record, by far, with over 100 million Views/Hits,' the former president continued.

'Congratulations to Adin and his wonderful mother, father, and family, who I had the pleasure to meet.'

Trump also gave a nod to his son for brokering the meeting.

'Thank you also to Barron Trump for the introduction to your friend, Adin.'

'Young people are the future of America. those numbers are really big 'stuff!''

The praise of Ross comes one day after the streamers interview with the 45th president garnered millions of views.

Though Trump didn't site where he got the 100 million views figure, the stream did boast between 400,00 - 570,000 viewers when it was live.

Clips of the meeting on social media have similarly amassed millions of views.

Trump also revealed Tuesday that he has lined up another blockbuster interview for next week.

In a separate post on Truth Social, the former president wrote 'On Monday night I'll be doing a major interview with Elon Musk - details to follow!'

It is unclear where the upcoming conversation between Trump and the Tesla CEO will be published, but it is speculated that the talk could be posted on Musk's other venture, X, formerly known as Twitter.

On Monday the former president also told Ross that he is one of Barron Trump's favorite internet personalities.

'My son Barron says hello. He's a great young guy but he's a big fan of yours,' Trump said.

'My son's told me about you,' Trump said. 'He said 'dad, he's really big.''

Trump even explained that Barron influenced his decision to join Ross, saying his son helped convince him to join the popular streamer.

'I love having a young audience … it's about the American dream,' Trump said. 'Right now, you don't have the American dream.'

The two also commiserated over the current state of the U.S. under President Joe Biden and VP Harris with the former president slamming her performance.

'All of the people she's looking at are much better than her,' Trump said of Harris's options for running mate. 'I think virtually every one of them is considered better, smatter, would be a better president than her.'

'Look she couldn't even pass her law exam, she couldn't pass her bar exam ... she thought she'd never be able to pass it. And this is who we have running our country, it's a shame,' Trump said in another attack against Harris, this time aiming at her legal record.

Harris, it should be noted, did fail her first bar exam, but later passed the test and was approved to practice law in California, where she served as a prosecutor and later district attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area.

'She's ultra-left, ultra-radical,' the former president continued on about Harris.

'She was attorney general of California, she destroyed California. Her policies have destroyed California.'

Ross agreed, noting how he used to live in California before moving to Florida.

The streamer said California Gov. Gavin Newsom's handling of the state has been terrible and has led to many residents moving out.

'San Francisco was the best city in our country 20 years ago,' Trump continued. 'Her policies, when she was the district attorney, have destroyed San Francisco.'

Later in the stream, Ross conducted a segment where he would show an image of a famous personality to Trump and have the former president respond with one word he thought of when he saw the individual.

When a picture of AOC appeared on the screen, Trump gave a surprising answer.

'She's fake,' he said. 'But she knows it, she's got a thing going.'

'It's a good thing for her,' Trump continued. 'But there's a certain something she's got. She's got a good spark, it's pretty amazing, actually.'

He seemed to insinuate that he liked AOC's progressive brand, even though he called the perceived act 'fake.'

'She has got a lot of sizzle,' he added.

The former president randomly compared AOC to the former first lady of Argentina Evita Peron, who was famous for her activism in worker's issues, which is similar to the efforts championed by the New York Democrat.

Trump recalled seeing Ocasio-Cortez campaigning on TV against incumbent Joe Crowley, who at the time was one of the highest ranking Democrats in the House, thinking to himself that Crowley was going to lose to her.

'I said he better be careful,' Trump said. 'And she took him out, so you know, I give her credit.'

The ex-president also lauded UFC Founder Dana White, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and Joe Rogan during the stream.

Later in the stream Trump even suggested to Ross that 'Maybe someday you'll be president.'

To which Ross laughed it off and offered up another suggestion.

'I don't know about that, I'll leave it to Barron maybe one day,' Ross shot back.

Ross also taught Trump some streamer slang, mentioning to the former president that when he see's the audience write 'W' in the stream chat, that is a good thing.

'W means it's good. W means win,' Ross explained to a confused looking Trump, sitting with his mouth agape.

Towards the end the two also recorded a video of them dancing in Trump's famous two-fisted dance move, where they stood side-by-side shaking their hips and pumping their fists.

The former president had similar reactions when Ross gave him a luxurious Rolex timepiece.

Trump then joked that it was really 'worth it' to come on the livestream after receiving the watch which is likely worth tens of thousands of dollars.

'I don't know what you're doing but you really are respected and amazing. I go onto other shows and nobody makes a big deal of it,' Trump said.
