Socialite influencer wife of financier Brandon Miller lists Hamptons estate and flees for Miami after his suicide

The socialite wife of a financier who took his life after falling into 'millions' of dollars of debt has listed their Hamptons estate for sale and fled to Miami.

Candice Miller has placed the $15.5 million Water Mill mansion on the market in the wake of her husband Brandon Miller's death.

She and her two daughters are said to be relocating to Florida to start fresh, sources told Page Six

'She's over in New York,' an insider said. 'She's moving to Miami before school starts and has enrolled her kids in a Miami school.'

The couple had been in dire financial straits prior to Miller's suicide last month, with Miller taking out several massive loans against the Hamptons home.

Mounting debts led them to sell their TriBeCa townhouse in 2021. The family had been living on a $47,000 a month Upper East Side mansion, the New York Times reported.

Now the Hamptons estate is being sold through high end realtor Bespoke Real Estate at an asking price of $15.495 million.

The 8,764 square foot residence boasts seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a heated pool, 'state-of-the-art amenities and top tier finishes throughout', according to the listing.

'Situated on the renowned Cobb Isle Road, this property features a gated entrance, ensuring privacy and tranquility,' the advert states.

'Its prime location offers easy water access with Mecox Bay, Burnett Creek, and Mill Creek nearby, and is just moments from Flying Point Beach.'

The stunning estate was a regular fixture on Candice Miller's since-deleted Mama and Tata Instagram page for her lifestyle brand of the same name.

The account frequently featured lavish displays of wealth including extravagant parties, designer clothing and luxury getaways.

In reality, Brandon Miller is thought to have owed an estimated $17 million at the time of his death and was being sued for $221,000.

His attempts to steady the ship saw him take out a series of loans against the family's Hamptons home, according to financial records analyzed by the New York Times.

This included a $6.1 million loan from a traditional bank, as well as a $2 million loan from a company advertising same-day loans.

The couple also spent $180,000 on a year's worth rented furniture, plus $12,000 per month after that, according to a lawsuit claiming Brandon Miller owed the rental company $100,000.

The apartment 'downsizing' still could not cover costs, and Brandon Miller defaulted on several bills, including docking fees for a $1 million speedboat.

While the family was away on vacation, the real estate mogul got into his car and left it running until the garage filled with toxic gas.

The build-up triggered a carbon monoxide alarm that alerted the fire department in Southampton, New York, and sent a notification to Candice Miller, DailyMail.com previously reported.

But she missed the July 1 warning because she was asleep at her $2,000-per-night hotel on the Amalfi coast, a friend told DailyMail.com.

Reports have since emerged that she was aware of the rising financial troubles before jetting off on vacation but that her husband had reassured her that everything was under control.

Friends told the New York Times Brandon Miller encouraged his wife to go on vacation by insisting everything was paid for.
