While most Love Island couples barely make it two months on the outside, Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury defied all the odds and, for a while, made you believe that TV producers might just be the best match makers.

However, that may no longer be the case for the beloved 'it' couple, as Molly-Mae confirmed in a cryptic Instagram post, that they have finally called it quits on their five-year relationship.

From a steamy first date in a hot tub in June 2019, to a dramatic robbery, welcoming their first child and an idyllic proposal - where did it all go wrong?

MailOnline takes a look back at the ups and downs of reality TVs favourite couple.

Sparks fly in the Love Island villa

Back in 2019 the pair met when Molly came into the villa on day four as a bombshell. Tommy had been exploring things with Lucie Donlan, but quickly expressed his 'intrigue' in the new girl.

Waiting in the villa's hot tub after the public chose Tommy to be her first date, Tommy declared 'you're 100% my type'.

They hit is off immediately, and the next day - much to Lucie's fury - coupled up.

The duo later got locked in a love triangle with Anton Danyluk, while Molly-Mae also expressed interest in late arrival Danny Williams.

While Molly Mae and Tommy partied in London, the gang descended on their block of flats, in which there are five other properties.

'They have approached the property from the rear and smashed through their balcony windows and doors to gain access to their apartment. There is five apartments in the block but other neighbours were out too...

'They have stolen approx 800k worth of belongings leaving them with nothing left other than what they had on them in their suitcases in London on the night of event..

'Molly was pictured that night when the robbery happened at her Beauty Works x Molly Mae event in London. They seemed to have got scared off and departed quickly possible across the park at the back. It’s called Halecroft Park.'

'I know a lot of you won't have been expecting me to do a home account as I have become a lot more private about what I post of our home life. However having a home account is something that I have always dreamed of doing.'

She continued: 'I've decided that I don't want the past to control my future, the way I live my life, and the things I share with you guys.
