With her designer clothes, celebrity friends and extravagant vacations, Jasveen Sangha looks like a typical Hollywood socialite.

But the glossy exterior hides a criminal underbelly, according to prosecutors, who say she is responsible for supplying the ketamine which killed Matthew Perry.

Between throwing lavish parties and flights on private jets, Sangha has allegedly been operating as a prolific Los Angeles drug dealer.

Her alleged antics have even earned her the nickname the 'Ketamine Queen', according to an indictment charging her and four others in connection with Perry's October 2023 overdose death.

The dual US-British citizen is currently being held in jail, where she will remain until her trial in October.

Alleged drug dealer Jasveen Sangha has not been shy about flaunting her flashy lifestyle

Friends told DailyMail.com how just days ago, Sangha had been out celebrating her birthday at a Hollywood bar.

But her new home is a far cry from the glitzy lifestyle frequently on display on her Instagram page.

Just two weeks after Perry's death, Sangha jetted off to Tokyo - where she indulged in lychee martinis at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, where suites cost $1,847 a night.

While a few months later, another post shows her indulging in caviar while waiting to jet off to Mexico in February, just four months after Perry's death.

Sangha posted smirking selfies while sunning herself on a trip to Playa del Carmen, where she showed off her beachfront residence while drinking cocktails by the pool.

She also boasted about her health and wellness journey - using IV drips after late-night partying and being a proponent of 'sound healing,' which she called 'absolutely uplifting and cleansing for the heart and soul.'

The week before Perry's death, Sangha threw a splashy 40th 'Players' Ball' themed birthday party, where she posed up in front of a Maybach.

Her wardrobe is portrayed as an endless rotation of  Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry, Louis Vuitton sneakers and Chanel clothes.

Her family are connected to a fashion line called Michael Paul, that had showrooms in London in the 1980s.

Just hours before her arrest, Sangha took to Instagram again fresh from the salon to debut a vibrant purple hairstyle.

Prosecutors allege that she was part of a 'broad criminal network' supplying drugs to celebrities.

Reports have since emerged that Sangha met Perry during a stint in rehab, where she also befriended Charlie Sheen's actress ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

A photo posted by Sangha's uncle shows the alleged drug dealer partying with Sheen during a night out in Beverly Hills.

Sangha is just one of five who were arrested on August 15 in connection to Perry's death on October 28, 2023.

The actor was found unresponsive in the hot tub of his LA home, with his death later ruled to be from the 'acute effects of ketamine'.

He was receiving ketamine-infusion therapy to treat his depression at the time, but his last sessions was a week and a half before he died ruling out the possibility the ketamine in his system was from this.

Doctors Salvador Plasencia, 42, and Mark Chavez, 54, drug dealer Eric Fleming, 54, and Perry's live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, 59, have all subsequently been charged.

In an indictment, texts between the defendants revealed that Sangha was known in the community for 'only deal[ing] with high end and celebs' in her drug business.

She is accused of using her North Hollywood residence, referenced in the indictment as the 'Sangha Stash House,' to store, package, and distribute narcotics, including ketamine and methamphetamine.

It is further claimed that Sangha knew the dangers of selling ketamine after another alleged client of hers, Cody McLaury, died of an overdose in 2019.

Anne Milgram, administrator for the DEA, said Sangha was a 'significant source of supply [of drugs] in Los Angeles during an appearance on the Today Show.

'She was still running a drug emporium,' Milgram said. 'She was a significant drug trafficker, we have now been able to connect her sale of ketamine to an individual who died in 2019. She is a significant source of supply in Los Angeles.'

Los Angeles realtor Greg Wasik told DailyMail.com that he was shocked to learn his friend of several years had been indicted for selling drugs that killed Perry.

But Wasik said Sangha seemed normal and serene when she celebrated her 41st birthday with friends at a bar in Hollywood just days ago.

‘I was at her birthday party just the other day and there was no inkling of anything like this going on in her life,’ he said. ‘She was definitely just a pretty normal person I’ve known for years.’

Artist Heather Pardieu, 42, also said she was surprised to learn of the charges against her friend Sangha – but suggested that at least some responsibility for Perry’s death lay with the actor himself.

‘She’s a friend of mine,’ Pardieu told DailyMail.com. ‘I mean, at the end of the day, nobody’s forcing anybody to do drugs.’

She added that she had never seen Sangha dealing or being involved with drugs.

Sangha’s trial date is scheduled for October 15, while Plascencia will appear on October 8.

The other defendants have all already pleaded guilty or plan to do so.
