While the Portugal international was subject to heckling from Villa fans at Old Trafford, it was his own teammate that he reacted to come the full-time whistle.
Casemiro was pictured wide-eyed during a conversation with Fernandes at full-time before Harry Maguire came over to the pair.
Going viral on social media, the video provided some discomfort for Man United fans, who also noticed Jadon Sancho appearing to criticise Fernandes for 'moaning' during the match.

However, Fernandes and Sancho embraced for the United captain's opener, showing that the pair are still on good terms.
Despite the altercations, Erik ten Hag praised the character of his side following the victory as he said: 'We know that because we spoke with the lads about it.

Fans will be hopeful that Casemiro and Fernandes can put their heated discussion behind them as United seek a domestic double as they face rivals Man City in the FA Cup final at the end of the season.
