Cristiano Ronaldo has put his Kings Cup Final disappointment behind him, by taking an end of season holiday before gets set to lead Portugal at Euro 2024

Ronaldo was seen in despair following Al-Nassr's cup defeat to Al-Hilal on Friday, after his side lost the game after a penalty shoot out.

The defeat came at the end of a 1-1 draw in the final of the King Cup of Champions, which also saw three players dismissed over the regular 90 minutes.

However, the Portuguese has taken to Instagram to share snaps from his holiday and he looks to refresh before linking up with the national team, ahead of this summer's tournament.

The forward can be seen in pale blue shorts, posing in front of a crystal-clear beach behind him, showing off a physique that defies his 39 years of age.

In a separate snap, uploaded to his Instagram story, the Portugal skipper posed with his five children on the beach and partner Georgina Rodriguez.

The holiday would indicate that Ronaldo will play no part of Portugal's first warm-up friendly against Finland on Tuesday.

Instead, he is expected to join his teammates and boss Roberto Martinez for the games against Croatia on June 8th and then their final clash on the 11th when they play the Republic of Ireland.

Ronaldo goes into the tournament having scored 50 goals in 51 games for the Saudi Pro League this season.

In doing so, he's become the first player to in history to win the top-scorer award in four different countries, having previously won the accolade in England, Spain and Italy during his career
