Wayne Lineker has joked that it is 'great news' that Jack Grealish has agreed a four-week loan to his Ibiza beach club.

Grealish was the shock omission as Gareth Southgate confirmed his final 26-man squad for the Euros on Thursday.

And fans took to social media to make light of the situation with the general consensus that Grealish was about to spend the summer in Lineker's club ocean Beach.

Several joked that the Man City star had 'agreed a four-week deal to join O Beach on loan' by posting a picture of Grealish with the popular Ibiza day club's co-owner,

Lineker saw one of the Instagram posts and wrote this response in the comments

And Lineker has now responded, leaving a comment on one of the posts that it is 'great news'.

Grealish has regularly frequented the party spot on the Balearic island in the past, with Lineker having posted a snap of the two together on his Instagram in 2023, captioning the photo: 'Boy's back!!! @jackgrealish annual Ibiza trip annual pic #yesjack #ibiza20233'.

The 28-year-old Man City star has been pictured on several occasions enjoying parties at the infamous day club.

Sports stars from around the world regularly frequent the venue - with Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott being pictured there just over a week ago.

Fans made light of Grealish's regular visits to the Spanish island years, with the winger pictured last summer taking over the decks at the popular nightclub Hi, going back-to-back with popular Australian DJ Fisher.
