Man City stars and WAGs hit the town for Bernardo Silva's birthday night out, days before their Premier League title defence begins... but Kyle Walker goes solo - and which outcast turned up?

Manchester City's stars enjoyed a night out on Wednesday, just days before the start of the Premier League season.

Pep Guardiola's side are looking to win the top flight for the fifth successive campaign following a glittering period of success.

They began the 2024-25 season in fine fashion by lifting the Community Shield at Wembley last Saturday after beating arch-rivals Manchester United 7-6 on penalties.

But, days before kicking off their Premier League title defence, several of City's stars were seen out and about in Manchester until the early hours of Thursday morning.

Guardiola's squad were celebrating Bernardo Silva's birthday, with the Portuguese midfielder turning 30 on Saturday.

However, Kyle Walker was pictured leaving the venue alone - amid ongoing speculation surrounding his marriage - with fellow defender Josko Gvardiol also seen on his own

Silva marked the occasion by scoring an 89th-minute equaliser, although he did miss his spot kick in the shoot-out. 

Silva found time to celebrate this week as he threw a party at the luxurious restaurant Sexy Fish in Manchester, where he was joined by most of his team-mates. 

Sexy Fish, a Japanese restaurant based in the Deansgate area of Manchester, serves up a variety of fine dining delicacies from Oysters to Wagyu beef. 

The likes of Nathan Ake, Kevin De Bruyne, Mateo Kovacic, Ederson and Josko Gvardiol were among City's players who turned up, with several joined by their partners.

However, Kyle Walker was pictured leaving the restaurant alone, amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding his relationship with wife Annie Kilner following his affair with TV personality Lauryn Goodman, who he reportedly shares two children with. 

Most of Silva's team-mates were seen exiting the venue through the front door of Sexy Fish, except Jack Grealish, who snuck out using an underground service tunnel into a staff car park where his lift home was waiting.

The party concluded shortly after midnight, with Silva exiting Sexy Fish just before 1am.

There were even a few surprise names in attendance, with City outcast Joao Cancelo spotted back with his team-mates.

The defender, who plays with Silva for Portugal, hasn't featured for City since January 2023 after a fall-out with Guardiola, with Cancelo subsequently spending time on loan at Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

He has joined up with City's squad following the conclusion of Euro 2024, but his future remains unclear given he failed to even make the bench against United on Saturday.

Seeing Premier League stars at the Sexy Fish restaurant is not unknown, with Matthijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui both enjoying a meal out at the venue on Monday ahead of completing their moves to United for a combined £60m fee.

De Ligt was pictured walking out of the restaurant holding hands with his wife AnneKee Molenaar - a model who is the daughter of former Netherlands player Keje Molenaar. 

Manuel Akanji was another City star to attend the party with his wife at the luxurious venue

Several supporters also gathered outside the restaurant to take pictures with the club's new signings, who had been seen arriving at Munich Airport earlier in the day before flying to Manchester. 

Many other professional footballers, including City winger Grealish, have frequented the restaurant over the years.

Grealish was also notably given a parking ticket after he and his girlfriend Sasha Attwood had headed out to the restaurant for dinner back in 2023.

City's stars will return to training on Thursday ahead of their first Premier League game of the season on Sunday, when Guardiola's side travel to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
