Lewis Hamilton and George Russell appear to be united in firing Mercedes back into contention in Formula One as they worked out together ahead of this weekend's Australian Grand Prix.
The Mercedes duo have struggled to compete with their Red Bull and Ferrari rivals in the first two races of the season - posting poor performances in both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Hamilton and Russell finished third and fourth respectively in Bahrain and then the seven-time world champion didn't even make Q2 and was forced to start 16th on the grid a week later.

Russell, who joined from Williams in the off-season, managed to claim sixth in Jeddah and complete a miserable start to the campaign with Ferrari and Red Bull both boasting a win apiece.
But now they have the chance to get their season back on track with Formula One heading to Melbourne this weekend.
Despite their underwhelming start, morale appears to be high between the Mercedes pair as they shared a gym session in Australia on Wednesday morning.
The pair posed for a photo in front of the mirror in the gym while Russell was lifting a kettle bell.
Hamilton captioned the picture: 'Teamwork makes the dream work' and tagged his fellow Briton.

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff was fiercely critical of his team's performance in the first few races of the season.
The Austrian said: 'It is totally unacceptable where we are at the moment on performance.
'We are third on the road and sometimes not even [that] so it is just not an option to stay where we are.'
Hamilton, chasing a record eighth world title, is already 29 points behind leader Charles Leclerc in the drivers' standings.
Russell finds himself 23 points off the Ferrari leader, despite his pair of finishes in the points positions.
