The brother of seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher, shared the news on Instagram alongside a post of himself and another man staring at the sunset together.

The six-time Grand Prix winner was instantly met with a wave of positivity online, with many commenting on the post to congratulate the happy couple.


The 49-year-old who drove for both Williams and Toyota during his 10-year-long career, was previously married to his ex-wife Cora Schumacher for 14 years before the pair separated back in 2015.

Who is Cora Schumacher? 

She is a German actress, model, racing driver and television presenter, best known for featuring on German television programmes like Top of the Pops, Mareinhof and Alarm Fur Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei.

She is the daughter of petrol station owner Gerd Brinkmann and his wife Ingrid. After graduating from school, she went on to study as a communications specialist whilst also working as a model. 

She would go on to feature on the cover of the German edition of GQ on its October 2003 cover, before turning her attention to racing.

Racing career 

In 2004, influenced by her husband at the time, Schumacher entered the world of racing.

Making her debut in 2004 as part of the celebrity team in the Mini Challenge in Germany, she qualified 22nd out of 24 for her first race. 

From there she would go on to surprise more people, after was signed up for the 2006 SEAT Leon Supercopa alongside Christina Surer, in a deal that made her the highest-paid women driver in the world at the time. 

She would go to take part in numerous racing challenges, returning to the Mini Challenge in 2010 and 2011, where she picked up three 11th places finishes driving for Lechner Racing.
