NBA fans insist Kai Cenat can beat Joel Embiid in a 1 vs. 1 as streamer links up with TEAM USA and takes bizarre selfie with LeBron James

Kai Cenat got to meet several members of the American men's basketball Olympic team on Sunday, with some thinking the popular streamer could beat former NBA MVP Joel Embiid 1-on-1.

The 5-foot-3 Cenat posted three photos and two videos to his Instagram story of his meet-up with Team USA, including an incredibly awkward selfie with LeBron James

Both Cenat and James are looking straight down at a phone, where it is not clear the Lakers legend is aware that the YouTuber is taking a photo of him based on his face.

Cenat added another posed photo with James, as well as a video interaction with Steph Curry, and a photo next to the 7-foot Embiid, who is 21 inches taller than him.

Cenat brought up the possibility of him beating Embiid to his face during his Team USA photo-op.

'I be hoopin'!' Cenat said to Embiid.

'You think you can beat me?' Embiid replied to Cenat whose forehead came up to the middle of the 76ers' center's forearm.

'Hell yeah I could beat you bro!' Cenat retorted.

'I'm not even gonna entertain that,' Embiid concluded.

Cenat has been around the NBA before, as a participant in the league's All-Star celebrity basketball game.

He was largely ignored by his teammates and Shannon Sharpe, his head coach.

Sharpe, who has built a reputation for being outspoken in sports media, called Cenat 'three feet tall' a few days later on ESPN's 'First Take' with the YouTuber losing his mind on a live stream reacting to the comments.

Cenat later confronted Sharpe for his comments on his podcast. As proof for his basketball skills, Cenat showed an Instagram highlight tape of him training for the celebrity game against children.

Sharpe and podcast co-host, Chad 'OchoCinco' Johnson could not hold back their laughter, with Johnson nearly falling out of his chair.
