Travis Kelce 'tells Taylor Swift to strengthen her security' after Eras Tour terror plot in Austria was foiled
Travis Kelce wants girlfriend Taylor Swift to strengthen her security setup after a terrorist attack planned around her Eras Tour in Austria was foiled.
Three teenagers were arrested in Vienna for targeting the shows earlier this month, prompting Swift to cancel her three scheduled performances in the city. Prior to that, three girls were killed in a stabbing at a Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England.
Swift said she felt 'tremendous guilt' at not playing in Austria but Kelce, who was in the United States preparing for the NFL season at the time, wants her to focus on staying safe. It was previously reported he spent 'hours' on the phone consoling her when she had to cancel the shows.
'Travis is advising her to make her own safety a top priority and wants her to get even more security,' Life and Style quoted an insider close to the couple as saying.
'He can't do much else, aside from pray that she'll be OK. It’s been so horrible, he hated having to sit back and do nothing but wait.

'He wanted to rush to her side to protect her but obviously he couldn’t do that.
'She had plenty of bodyguards to keep her safe, but still, it left him feeling pretty helpless.'
The source added that Kelce was relieved Swift canceled her Austria tour dates.
'Money isn’t everything and Travis is proud of Taylor for doing the right thing and canceling her shows,' they added.
'Putting her life and the lives of her fans at risk simply isn’t worth it, no matter how disappointing it is for people or how much money it cost her.'
Swift ended her European Eras Tour in London last weekend and now has nearly two months off before resuming live shows in Florida.
She is expected to attend the opening game of the NFL season, where Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs play the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on September 5.
Swift cheered Kelce on in 13 games last season, even racing back to Las Vegas from Tokyo - where she had been touring - for his Super Bowl triumph.
Kelce is currently preparing for the new NFL season to start with the Kansas City Chiefs
Kelce, 34, and his Chiefs team are targeting football history this season by becoming the first team to win three straight Super Bowl titles.
She is expected to spend more time with Kelce in Kansas City as her touring winds down around his football commitments ramping up.
Kelce owns a $6million mansion in a gated community in Kansas City where he will be based for the season.
