American diver jokes about 'staring at the hot athletes' in hilarious TikTok from the Olympic Village

Olympic diver Tyler Downs joked that he's only at the Paris Games 'for the hot athletes.' 

The 21-year-old athlete has made a slew of hilarious TikTok videos since jetting across the pond for the 2024 Summer Olympics as part of Team USA. 

'Going to the dining hall to stare at all the hot athletes,' he wrote over one video, which showed him walking alongside fellow diver, Jaye Patrick, as he called the pastime 'my favorite hobby.'

Another social media clip showed the duo sitting in the dining hall while lip syncing to a popular audio on the app.  

'I feel like you're at the Olympics just to stare at the hot athletes,' he wrote over the video.

The diver dramatically turned around to stare at fellow athletes after trying to act casual

In another clip, he wrote, 'Don't make it obvious but they're so hot,' as he dramatically turned around to stare at fellow athletes. 

He also recruited his USA teammates Maycey Vieta and Daryn Wright for a Love Island parody.

'When a hot new bombshell enters the Olympic villa,' the clip was captioned, referencing the iconic British dating show. 

'Everyone here is gorgeous,' Downs added.

Fans were quick to jump in the comments section, with many calling him the 'hot athlete.' 

'Ok but like you’re also so hot? We keep talking about everyone else that your looking at that’s hot but you are also SOO HOT,' one person commented.

Another chimed in, 'Babe, they be looking at you!'

A third follower joked, 'me when i see the italian swim team.'

Downs has been delivering plenty of Olympics content, including one post of him fangirling over Simone Biles. 

The gymnast recently threw shade at her ex-teammate MyKayla Skinner after Team USA took home their first gold of the Games. 

The eight-time Olympic medalist shared a photo of herself, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey and Lee holding a USA flag aloft with the caption, 'lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions.'

It was a reference to Skinner, who recently sparked controversy by questioning the current American squad's 'work ethic' and dedication to their craft. 

And after her dig on Instagram this week, Chiles revealed that Biles has now been blocked by Skinner on the social-media platform.
