Rao, 48, a former CNN newsreader made headlines during RHOM last year, when she gained a reputation for criticising her cast mates. She later sensationally quit the show.
Meanwhile, Law, 40, who rose to fame with his SBS series The Family Law – which was based on his memoir of the same – has been an outspoken critic of reality TV.
The presenter and screenwriter has criticised dating shows, especially, for their lack of diversity.
It comes after Channel 10 announced that former contestants Shonee Bowtell, George Mladenov, Nina Twine, Hayley Leake, Shaun Hampson, and Jordie Hansen will return to Australian Survivor next year.

TV Blackbox has also confirmed that filmmaker and activist Rogue Rubin, AFL star David Zaharakis and former Miss World Australia Sarah Marschke will be survivors in the new season.
Channel 10 has dropped a trailer featuring locations for the new season, which was filmed in Samoa, where the show was last shot in 2016 and 2017.
The action-packed adventure reality series is set to air in January next year.

Fans can expect a twist that differentiates it from the U.S. version of Heroes v Villains: in addition to featuring former players in the tribes, new players have also been thrown into the mix.
Earlier this year, host Jonathan LaPaglia said fans can expect big things in 2023.
'Play time is over,' he wrote on Instagram Stories. 'Back in the office making the next season of Survivor... and it's shaping up to be a ripper.'
