Fans went into a frenzy after it was reported stars Jack, Kate, Cameron, 50 and Jude Law, 49, were all on board for the sequel.
But Kate, who played journalist Iris in the rom-com, told People: 'I read something about that, but it’s the first I’ve heard of it.
'I promise you not an agent or a representative or anyone from the first one around has had any conversation with me about that. Hand on heart, that’s never come up.'

Writer and director Nancy Meyers also took to Instagram to debunk rumours of a sequel, writing: So many DM’s about this - sorry but it’s not true.'
The original movie, written and directed by Meyers, told the tale of Surrey-based journalist Iris who swaps homes with Amanda (Cameron), a movie producer from Hollywood, following respective heartbreaks.
While in Surrey, Amanda finds romance with Iris's book editor brother, widower Graham (Jude ), while Iris meets Miles (played by Jack) and dates him.
The heartwarming romcom's sequel will track the lovebirds and see how they're all getting on 16 years after finding love.
A source had previously told The Sun: 'The plan is to start filming next year. The main talent are all signed up.'
They added: 'It's one of the most successful movies of its kind and still enjoyed every year by millions of fans around the world - it makes perfect sense to revisit those characters and find out what became of their lives after they hooked up.
'It'll be funny, poignant, and heartwarming - just what everyone wants for Christmas.'
When it was originally released, The Holiday was greeted with mixed reviews with some critics calling it predictable. However, it went on to earn more than £160million at the box office.
