'Opinions are flying': Piers Morgan hits the town with Gary Lineker, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli for a late night out while enjoying a birthday break in LA
Piers Morgan shared a selfie with Gary Lineker, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli as the group hit the town in Los Angeles - after he defended the Match of The Day host on Twitter last month.
The broadcaster, 58, recently celebrated his birthday and has taken a two-week holiday from his show, Piers Uncensored.
Posting to Instagram on Tuesday, Piers shared a snap of the surprising group at the iconic Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood.
The four beamed as they crammed into the picture by a swimming pool as they enjoyed an evening out together.
Accompanying his post, the ever-divisive presenter wrote: 'Midnight in Hollywood... and opinions are flying.'

Piers stood next to his former fellow judge on Britain's Got Talent, Amanda Holden, 52 - while Bruno Tonioli, who has recently replaced David Williams in the show's line-up, posed behind them.
Peeking through in the top right corner of the snap was a grinning Gary Lineker, 62, who Piers recently defended on Twitter after his removal from Match Of The Day.
Morgan tweeted: 'WTF? How pathetically spineless.. I now demand the BBC suspend every presenter who has made public comment about news or current affairs - starting with Sir David Attenborough and Lord Sugar.
He added: 'Memo to anyone who now agrees to present MOTD tomorrow: we’ll see you, and we’ll judge you accordingly.
He then moved to offer Lineker advice on what to do next, suggesting the former England international should tell the BBC to 'go f*** themselves'.
'Gary Lineker should tell the BBC to go f*** themselves, as I told ITV to over the Markle debacle. Free speech is the cornerstone of democracy - the moment Britons agree to be told what we’re allowed to say or think, democracy dies.'
Lineker was later reinstated to his position as the iconic figurehead of the show and the pair have clearly continued their friendship over the following weeks - embarking on a star-studded night out in Hollywood.
Piers is in LA as he takes two weeks off work to celebrate his 58th birthday.
Birthday trip: The broadcaster, 58, is taking a two-week break from his show, Piers Uncensored, to celebrate his birthday in Los Angeles
Speaking on his show, Piers Uncensored, he said: 'I'm taking two extremely well-deserved weeks off. I'm going to go to Hollywood and lie under palm trees.'
Earlier in the week, he had cancelled his holiday for an interview with Stormy Daniels, which was then itself cancelled over a 'security issue'.
The next day, Piers jetted off to LA once more as planned, praising British Airways for their service on Twitter.
It comes after Piers reunited with his former Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid last week as they headed out for breakfast together.
The broadcaster took to Twitter to share a sweet snap from their morning outing as the former colleagues reunited for the first time in 'a while'.
Piers hosted GMB alongside Susanna, 52, until his departure in 2021 and since then, Susanna has continued to helm the show alongside a selection of male hosts.
In a caption alongside the post, Piers quipped that it had been 'a while' since they last had breakfast together in reference to his former job hosting the chat show.
He penned: 'Good morning (again) Britain! Been a while since we last had breakfast together… lovely to see you @susannareid100.'
Since Piers' departure from GMB in 2021, Susanna has continued to front the show alongside a rotation of male hosts.
Regulars have included Richard Madeley, Ed Balls, Ben Shephard, Kate Garraway, Adil Ray and Robert Rinder.
