Madonna wishes son Rocco Ritchie a happy 23rd birthday as she shares sweet montage of throwback snaps: 'From conception, life with you has been an adventure'
Madonna wished her beloved son Rocco Ritchie a happy 23rd birthday on Thursday with a montage of sweet snaps of the pair.
The pop icon, 64, who is recovering from a major health scare, said she was 'so proud' of the her son, who she shares with ex Guy Ritchie as she posted adorable snaps of her son over the years with her and his five siblings.
She wrote: 'Happy Birthday Dearest Rocco……. From the day you were conceived, Life with You Has been an adventure.
'From Your Premature Birth to your love of Skate Boarding, Dirt Bikes. Break Dancing, Parkour, Graffiti and all Adrenaline Provoking activities!
'You have made me worry— possibly more than any other person on the planet. But You have taken the road less traveled by and that will make all the difference! Nothing gives me more Joy then to watch you grow as an artist!

The pair were seen during several special moments over the years, with a toddler Rocco clutching into his mother in one adorable snap, and the duo enjoying a glass of wine together in the present day.
Rocco was seen walking with his siblings in several snaps and also showing off his edgy hairstyles including a buzzcut.
Madonna and Guy welcomed Rocco in August 2000, shortly after they married.
Rocco's relationship with his mother was not always smooth sailing, especially after his parents divorced in 2008.
In 2012, when he was 12, he told The Ellen DeGeneres Show that 'she's very strict but in a good way'.
Rocco stopped travelling with his mother on her 2015 Rebel Heart tour, instead heading to his father's country estate in Devon, Pennsylvania.

However, the following year things had been patched up, and they now enjoy a close relationship.
Rocco has become a model and actor, crediting both his parents for his career.
He told Vogue Man Hong Kong that he was inspired by growing up with people whop were 'passionate' about art.
The appearance comes after Rocco credited his parents Madonna and Guy Ritchie for raising him in a 'creative household' that has now led to his art career.
He is currently carving out a career as a painter and has even co-founded his own gallery called Maison Rhed, the name taken from his alias Rhed which he used at the beginning of his career.
He said: 'It certainly helped growing up in a house that was passionate about art and culture.

'Neither of my parents are painters, but both are artists in their own right and they taught me to appreciate and respect it. Their shared fascination eventually piqued my interest and since I can remember I've always been surrounded by it.'
In order for his work to be viewed on merit alone, Rocco released his earlier work under the name Rhed.
The artist insisted that he is proud of all of his famous parents achievements but wanted time to develop as a painter without 'public judgement'.
He said: 'Rhed is just a name. The only real meaning and importance of that were so my life and my career weren't confusing each other, especially at a point where I haven't earned the title yet.
'It's not that I don't feel proud to be who I am, on the contrary, I couldn't be prouder of my parents and what they've achieved and in turn taught me.
'I just needed enough time to develop and experience my own lessons just like they did, without the extreme public judgement. Rhed was a mask until it wasn't.'
Madonna also has children: David Banda and Mercy James, both sixteen, and Stelle and Estere Ciccone, both nine.
The pop singer daughter Lourdes, 25, who she shares with her ex Carlos Leon.
