Alex Rodriguez declines to advise Travis Kelce about dating a celebrity ... as he has been in romances with Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Madonna

Alex Rodriguez says he wouldn't be able to help Travis Kelce with advice about playing well while dating a celebrity, amid the NFL star's headline-making romance with Taylor Swift.

'I certainly can't give anyone advice about that,' the 48-year-old star told People on Wednesday, despite a wealth of experience on the topic.

The three-time baseball MVP's love life has made headlines since his 2008 divorce from ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, 50, with whom he shares daughters Natasha, 18, and Ella, 15.

Rodriguez, an alum of the New York Yankees, Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners, has been romantically linked to notable names including Madonna, 65, Kate Hudson, 44, Cameron Diaz, 51, Bethenny Frankel, 52, Torrie Wilson, 48, and tech entrepreneur Anne Wojcicki, 50, in the years since his split.

His most high-profile relationship came after his retirement as baseball player, as he and Jennifer Lopez, 54, were initially linked in 2017 and announced their engagement in March of 2019, before calling things off in April of 2021.

'We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,' the former couple said in a joint statement at the time. 'We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.'

While she has gone on to marry former flame Ben Affleck, 51, in the years since, Rodriguez is in a relationship with Canadian fitness and lifestyle coach Jaclyn Cordeiro, 44.

Swift, 33, and Kelce, 34, have been in one of the most high-profile relationships between a celebrity and athlete since they emerged as a couple last month.

Swift was on hand to watch Kelce in his September 24 game against the Chicago Bears, as the Grammy-winning songstress sat in a luxury box alongside Kelce's mother Donna.

The Anti-Hero artist was seen spotted taking in Kelce's game against the Jets in New Jersey October 1, bringing along with her a group of famous friends including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Sophie Turner.

Swift was back in Kansas City to cheer on Kelce in his game against the Denver Broncos October 12. The Chiefs have won all four games she has attended.

Elsewhere in the interview, Rodriguez talked about raising his daughters, saying that being a parent has been paramount to all of his other experiences in sports, business and entertainment.

'For me, of all the things that I've been able to experience in my life, there's nothing besides the birth of both of my girls,' Rodriguez told the publication.

He said that he 'was not ready for' the experience of dropping off his daughter Natasha at University of Michigan this past August, calling it 'overwhelming.'

Rodriguez currently has the fifth most home runs of all-time with 696, behind baseball icons Barry Bonds and Albert Pujols, and late legends Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth.

He told People that he felt that Major League Baseball was wise to implement new rules imposing time constraints to speed up the game, citing increased viewership numbers.

'You tell me, "Alex, you got to go watch this movie. It's amazing. It's a blockbuster that's going to win every award,"' he said. 'And I say, "How long?" and you say, "Four hours," I'm not watching it.

'I think you've seen with the time clock, the data doesn't lie, right? Attendance is up nine and a half percent, games are almost 30 minutes shorter. The quality, the pace is better. So there's a lot of good movement as a domino effect for the game.'
