Madonna keeps her health up with Barcelona bike ride... ONE WEEK after revealing she felt UNWELL onstage following shock health crisis

Madonna was spotted in Barcelona keeping herself in fine fettle with some exercise while enjoying her time off on Halloween.

The 65-year-old has been whirling through Europe on her Celebration Tour, which will bring her to Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi later this week.

On Tuesday, however, she was still enjoying a bit of a breather between concert dates after playing Stockholm on Saturday night.

She seized the opportunity to grab a bit of fresh air and a workout, hopping on a bicycle and pedaling around with a gal pal.

As autumn progressed and temperatures dropped, Madonna bundled up in a cozy-looking set of sweats and a pair of gloves.

Shielding her face from the rays with a pair of dark sunglasses and a matching baseball cap, she wore her signature blonde hair in pigtails.

Even while dressed down in workout gear she clung to a bit of glamour, sharpening her striking features with makeup.

Her outing comes one week after she confessed onstage that she was feeling unwell, all while reflecting on the shocking health crisis she suffered over the summer.

The Celebration Tour was meant to begin in mid-July with a North American leg that would sweep through over 20 cities in the United States and Canada.

However, that leg had to be delayed after Madonna's health took a sudden downturn that struck terror into the hearts of her global fanbase.

She was confined to the ICU for several days after contracting what her manager announced was a 'serious bacterial infection.'

A report in Radar Online sensationally alleged that she suffered acute septic shock and was revived with Narcan, which is typically used to treat overdoses.

Onstage in Antwerp the Saturday before last, she admitted to the crowd: 'I must tell you, I don't feel very well right now. But I can't complain because I'm alive.'

She remarked that it was a 'f***ing miracle' that she survived her hospital stay, sharing how 'grateful' she felt to have pulled through.

Madonna explained that her ordeal had put her in mind of her mother, also called Madonna, who died of breast cancer at the age of just 33.

'I had this strange thought,' Madonna said at her Antwerp show. 'I suddenly had sympathy and empathy for my mother.'

She elaborated: 'About how lonely she must have felt in the hospital, knowing that she wasn't going to live. And I was given another chance.'
