Sir Paul McCartney, 81, delights Adelaide fan by signing his piano in wholesome moment during his Australia tour

Sir Paul McCartney has brought joy to an Adelaide music enthusiast by autographing his piano.

McCartney shared a video on Instagram showing him signing a piano for a man named Pete in Adelaide, outside his accommodation at Mount Lofty Estate.

'Alright, here we are signing Pete's piano,' Sir Paul said to the camera while dressed in grey joggers, sneakers, sporting dark sunglasses, and holding a silver sharpie.

'Pete's from Adelaide, so am I, here we go,' the 81-year-old joked as he signed the piano: 'To Pete, cheers, Paul McCartney 2023.' 

'You’ll have to look at that every time you play,' said Sir Paul, before playing the intro of The Beatle's smash hit 'Lady Madonna' on the keys.

McCartney visited Adelaide just two weeks ago for the kick-off of his Australian tour 'Got Back,' during which he wowed a capacity crowd at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

The former Beatle has since moved on to Sydney, taking the harbour city by storm with two sold out shows over the weekend.

Wearing a sleek black double-breasted suit of the kind he made famous during his Beatles hey day 60 years ago, the 81-year-old rocker amazed the sell-out crowd with his non-stop energy.

He completed his 60s-inspired look with a white shirt, and snug-fitting black stove-pipe trousers.

Wearing his shoulder length grey hair in a side part, Sir Paul appeared to be sporting a three-day growth.

Playing his trademark Hofner bass, Sir Paul delighted the 45,000 capacity crowd, as he led sing-a-longs, danced and banged out his best known tunes including The Beatles hits Got to Get You Into My Life and Getting Better.

Sir Paul treated fans to some of his most famous tunes from every part of his career during the show, including hits he penned with his band Wings.

Concert goers were thrilled with the spectacular show which included two gigantic screens, throw back images of The Beatles and a huge light-show. 

He played over 30 songs in the show, which ran nearly three hours, including Maybe I'm Amazed, Love Me Do and Can't Buy Me Love.

Fans also heard the classic tune Let Me Roll It from 1973, which he recorded with his band Wings, the group he founded after the Beatles split in 1970.

He especially delighted fans with a rendition of In Spite of All the Danger, a song from his teenage days when he was playing in The Quarrymen, the group that was a fore runner to The Beatles.

The sell-out gig, was Sir Paul's fourth show in Australia for his Get Back World Tour.

The Beatles superstar last played in Australia in 2017.

Last year, the famed singer-songwriter wowed audiences in the US and the UK with his 50-date Got Back tour, which featured a marathon throwback show featuring his classic songs.

Reports estimate that the 'greatest hits' concerts earned a whopping $100million.
