It comes just one day after the pop icon put on a leggy display while staying in Milan, as she enjoyed a private party in the city.

Madonna performed sell-out shows at the Mediolanum Forum on Thursday and Saturday.

The singer looked incredibly youthful as she headed out on Sunday, showing off her lithe limbs under fishnet tights and a black miniskirt.

The Like A Prayer songstress looked unbelievably trendy as she added a furred black shawl, while long leather gloves covered her arms.

She added a pair of futuristic boots embellished with studs as well as a dark pair of shades to shield her eyes.

The pop sensation was taking a much needed break from her intense touring schedule as she headed to a private party in the Italian city.

The Celebration Tour is Madonna's 12th concert tour but the first to not be in support of a new album, instead it revisits Madonna's old music - as she is due to tour the US next year.

A celebration of Madonna's forty-year career, the tour began on October 14 in London and is due to end on April 24 in Mexico City.

During one of her October shows in Belgium, Madonna said: 'Less than four months ago, I was in a hospital and I was unconscious, and people were thinking, predicting that I might not make it.

'So, it's a f***ing miracle that I'm here right now. My mother, God bless her, she must be watching over me...she said, "Girl, it's not your time to go."

'I had this strange thought. I suddenly had sympathy and empathy for my mother, not about the dying part, but how lonely she must have felt laying in hospital, knowing that she wasn’t going to live, and I was given another chance,' she added.

'So I'm very grateful for that,' Madonna continued, and then admitted, 'I must tell you, I don't feel really well right now, but I can't complain 'cause I'm alive.'

'Thank God for my children and all of you for your love and support, I really appreciate it.'

Madonna has six children: Lourdes Leon, 27, Rocco Ritchie, 23, David Banda, 18, Mercy James, 17, and twins Stella and Estere, 11, who took Madonna's surname Ciccone.

Lourdes is Madonna's daughter from seven-time Academy Award winner's relationship with personal trainer-turned-actor Carlos Leon, and Rocco her marriage to director Guy Ritchie.
