Madonna, 65, shares a rare photo of her father Silvio, 92, as she adds blue heart emojis: 'I love you Dad'

Madonna showed her affection for her 92-year-old father Silvio by sharing an image on her Instagram account on Tuesday.

In her snap, the 65-year-old singer was seen while embracing her father, and she added three blue heart emojis to her image to further illustrate her devotion to her parent.

The hitmaker - who recently made a joke at the expense of Lady Gaga - also added a short message to her image that read: 'I love you Dad.' 

Madonna went on to share a snap of herself that had been taken during one of the shows on her ongoing Celebration World Tour.

The Holiday singer spread her legs as she sat on a stool while performing for her fans, and she added a text graphic to let her followers know that her performance had been 'emotional.'

The 65-year-old singer (born Madonna Louise Ciccone) took to Instagram this past June, sharing a selfie plus a throwback snap of her father.

The post was shared just days after she posted a video where she told fans what to expect on her 84-date world tour.

'Happy Father's Day to. All the Dad's out there!!! She's, He's, Them's and They's !!' Madonna began.

'But Most of All to my Father -Silvio-who once told me he was gonna go until the wheels fall off!! S.A. M. E.' Madonna continued.

'Thanks for your unrelenting work ethic and Love and for refusing to spoil me in any wAy,' she added. 

'You taught me how to be a Survivor! ♥️ Forever Grateful. But also really tired…… xxxxxxxx,' Madonna concluded.

The Celebration Tour began on October 14, 2023, at the O2 Arena in London, and it is scheduled to conclude on April 26, 2024, at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico.

It comes hot on the heels of more chart success for the legend, and she just became the first woman since Cher to have a single open on the Billboard Hot 100 in five different decades.

All the other acts to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 in five or more decades were male solo artists like Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson or all-male groups like the Rolling Stones and Santana.

Popular dropped on June 2 amid a storm of controversy about The Idol, which has gotten a drubbing online ever since it premiered at Cannes in May.
