An iconic pop star has accidentally confirmed she is set to appear on the Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls' new Netflix show Bear Hunt.

Former Spice Girl singer Mel B, 48, dropped a huge hint confirming she is joining A-list names on the £10 million gruelling endurance show.

Mel shared a clip on Wednesday capturing herself enjoying a cold bath in a tropical location, which looked like Costa Rica, where the show is currently being filmed.

The star - known as Scary Spice - is seen exiting a wooden bungalow and heading to a frosty pool, where she braved the cold.

After the quick dip, Mel quickly headed out and ran to her towel nearby.

She flaunted her incredibly toned figure in a print blue bikini with a bandeau top.

'Luvvvv the sunnn and my ice baths having the best time but that was HARDDDD might do it again u no I luv my ice baths,' she captioned the video.

The clue seems to match the recent report claiming Mel agreed to a six-figure sum to appear on the show, which will see stars forced to rely on their survival skills to elude master adventurer Bear.

According to The Sun, Mel flew to Costa Rica over the weekend to join the celebrity line-up as filming begins on the reality series, which is slated to premiere next year.

Mel has apparently told pals that she signed up for the show to fund her wedding to boyfriend Rory McPhee, 36, which will take place at St Paul's Cathedral in London.

Mel, who announced her engagement to Rory in November 2022, revealed she is planning to tie the knot at the iconic cathedral because she is an MBE.

She explained: 'As I have an MBE, I am allowed to marry at St Paul's. They only do a small number of weddings a year so we are on the waiting list.'

Mel said the Spice Girls are invited, but added: 'They won't be bridesmaids though, we are all too old.'

The singer's TV appearance on the Netflix show will no doubt unnerve her Spice Girls bandmates, who may worry she will drop more bombshells about their group.

The Spice Girls recently reunited at Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday celebrations at Oswald's private members club in London last weekend.

Mel was believed to have had a 'frosty' reunion with Geri Horner at the bash as it was claimed they had a tense exchange before keeping their distance, after Mel claimed in a recent interview that Geri has lied about her age.

Days after the party, Mel seeming addressed the speculation about her exchange with Geri on Instagram.

Mel seemed to have extended an olive branch, as she shared a group snap with her Spice Girls bandmates on Instagram.

She wrote: 'What an amazing girl power weekend with all my girls, i have soooo much love and respect for you ALL #friendshipneverends.'

Bear Hunt, which will reportedly star Mel, will see a group of celebrities taught a series of survival skills with seasoned adventurer, Bear Grylls.

Bear will then chase the stars through the jungle in a bid to catch them before they can get to the end of the show and win.

Other stars who are slated to appear include retired rugby pro Danny Cipriani.

Netflix have said of the show: 'Bear believes there's an action hero inside us all — even the celebs — but how strong is their will to survive?

'As Bear puts them through their paces, those who fail to impress will face the dreaded 'Bear Hunt' — a brutal game of cat and mouse where they'll be hunted down and, if captured, eliminated from the show.'
