Liam Gallagher fans have gone wild after his triumphant London gigs at The O2, hailing the artist's performance as 'perfection'.

The singer-songwriter, 51, took to the stage in Greenwich on Monday for the third London show of his Definitely Maybe tour - celebrating 30 years of the Oasis album.

He is set to play an extra London date on Tuesday before heading up to Manchester to play the Co-op Live arena.

Liam's arena tour, which heads to Sheffield, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin, has been called 'off the charts' and 'celestial' by fans lucky enough to have bagged a ticket.

His first two gigs at The O2 on June 6 and 7 were supported by The View, with Cast taking over as support for the June 10 and 11 dates.

The tour sees Liam perform the entirety of the Definitely Maybe album for the first time, including hits like Supersonic and Cigarettes & Alcohol.

Fans have also been treated to hear some tracks that have rarely, if ever, been performed since the 1990s, including 'Up In The Sky' and 'Digsy's Dinner'.

Liam's supporters turned out in force for the sold out gigs, which some have described as the best he has ever sounded.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, after the gig, fans wrote: '@liamgallagher was absolutely immense tonight. Seen him many times and with Oasis but best he has sounded for me since Earls Court in 1997. Was absolutely on fire!';

'Liam Gallagher rocked the O2 tonight. Everything from Definitely Maybe and the B sides as well. Biblical,';

'@liamgallagher U & the band blew the socks off the O2 tonight! Thnx so much. My Sis had her Maine Road '96 tee on & we had an absolute blast. We've been through a lot but your music was the one thing that will always cement us. U have no idea what you did for us tonight. X,';

'Liam Gallagher outstanding this evening performing Definitely Maybe, biblical you might say. Having seen Oasis in about four combinations solo and together, this was by far the most electric and energetic,';

'Biblical and celestial as per usual @liamgallagher,'; 'Well that was bloody brilliant @liamgallagher,';

'Liam Gallagher….. Off the charts levels! So so good!'; 'just perfection! @liamgallagher at the o2 tonight,';

'Absolutely smashed it tonight lad, was an amazing performance, massive memories so thank you,';

'And another incredible gig tonight at the O2. I don't know how you can sing like that for so long and so well. Also, I thought the sound was very good in the O2 - the lead guitar in particular was punching through nicely (as were the vocals). Thanks for yet another great, memorable show. See you next time,';

'@liamgallagher never lets you down. Biblical!'; '@liamgallagher what a night what a performance still the best singer fact.'

In preparation for the arena tour, Liam is said to switched up to a healthier lifestyle as him and his partner Debbie Gwyther have relocated to the Cotswolds for a dose of outdoor living while their London home is being renovated.

According to reports from The Mirror, the star has begun eating a healthy diet and embarking on running sessions and has given up smoking and alcohol ahead of Saturday's first gig at Sheffield Utilita Arena.

A source close to the singer told the publication: 'He's getting lots of country walks with their rescue dog Buttons and eating healthily, cutting down on alcohol and going for bike rides and runs.

 'He knows how quickly these Definitely Maybe gigs sold out and wants them to be epic shows. Rehearsals have gone really well and now he just can't wait to get on stage and have it.'
