The Wiggles stars Anthony and Lucia Field opened up this week about the incredibly emotional phone call the veteran Blue Wiggle made which left his daughter in tears.
The father-daughter duo appeared on The Apple and The Tree podcast and told the hosts of the heartwarming moment Anthony, 61, invited Lucia, 20, to join the band.
'I was at a crossroads of where I wanted to be and what I wanted to do. Dad called me and said, "Would you like to become a Blue Wiggle?",' Lucia said.
'I said yes… I didn't really think, I just said "Yes".'
Anthony then chimed in and said while his daughter was initially thrilled by the offer, she later began sobbing uncontrollable over nervousness about joining the world-famous group.
'That night you started crying about it out of stress and worried about it,' he said.
Lucia clarified that while she was initially nervous, she was glad she decided to take the plunge by performing alongside her dad.

'It was stressful because it was different territory for me. I hadn't really sung in front of anybody. I said yes... It's the best decision I've ever made,' she said.
She graduated from high school in December 2021, and her excited father later shared a photo to Instagram of them together at her formal.

In addition to Lucia, Anthony is father to daughter Marie, 18, and son Antonio, 16, whom he shares with his wife of 20 years.
Anthony joined The Wiggles in 1979 alongside retired members Murray Cook, Greg Page and Jeff Fatt.
Field is the only original member still with the band.
Lucia joined The Wiggles as the supporting Blue member in 2022, 31 years after her father founded the iconic children's band in 1991
