Sofia Vergara hit her Golden Buzzer for a Japanese comedy act on Tuesday's episode of America's Got Talent as auditions continued on the NBC show.

'What is it?' Sofia, 52, asked after their performance left everyone howling with laughter. 'Is it like a dance or a puppet or a transformation, quick changing? I don't know, I'm very confused because I thought it was ridiculous. It's nonsense. I don't know what it is. But I really, really think that you deserve this.'

Sofia then shocked fellow judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell by standing up and smacking her Golden Buzzer.

The hilarious duo named Schumacher told the judges they have been doing their act for 10 years. They came out wearing dress pants and vests.   

Once the music came on, one of them ripped off his clothes and put a dog head on. He then wrapped electrical tape on and then put on a zebra mask.

Later, they both ripped off their suits and made a giraffe by melding their bodies together.

The theater audience gave them a roaring applause and extended standing ovation. 

'That was genius,' Simon, 64, said. said. 'Really funny.'

Ryu and Yuya fell to their knees when Sofia surprisingly hit her Golden Buzzer. The crowd cheered as the golden confetti fell around them. Sofia went to the stage and hugged them.

Host Terry Crews , 55, asked Sofia why she made this decision.

'I don't know,' Sofia said. 'That was the most fun thing we have had all day, all week.'

The season 19, two-hour episode opened with 13-year-old singer Mia Sanchez from Franklin, New Jersey, who sang Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish.

'I love everything about you,' Howie, 68, said when she finished.

Simon told her that he really liked the audition and the judges voted her on.

Illya and Anastasiia Strakhov showed off their amazing balance skills with him climbing to the top of a ladder and doing a handstand on a moving board. He also did a headstand on top of a bowling ball on top of a platform built with glasses. He then poured a drink with one free hand. For his finale he did a headstand on top of a bottle.

'I can't believe what I'm seeing,' Terry said. 'That was amazing!'

'It was nerve-racking, it was exciting,' Heidi said.

'It was really entertaining, Howie said.

'This is what I call a 10,' Simon said.

The judges gave them four yes votes.

'Spectacular, heartwarming,' Sofia said. 'What a treat.'

'I love this audition,' Simon said.

The judges voted them on.

Singer Dian Rene, 33, from Cuba, went next. He said being on this show has been a dream come true for him. He said he had to learn the song's lyrics in English the day before when the Spanish version didn't clear. Simon stopped him when he was singing.

'I don't think this is working,' Simon said. 'I think we should see you on another day because this isn't fair.'

Joey and Jordan came out carrying a guitar and a double bass. and they played upbeat bluegrass music. Jordan climbed on top of him as he was singing, but Simon buzzed them off.

Cornelio, 31, and Jabu, 22, put on a high energy tap dance and drumming audition.

'It's the next level after Stomp,' Howie said.

The judges gave them four yeses.

Nasty, 37, from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, put his head in a bucket of hot sauce and then had his friends hit him in the crotch with a rope, bungee and electric shock. Sofia hit her buzzer and the audience groaned.

'It was disgusting, however, slightly compelling at the same time,' Simon said.

'I didn't like it,' Sofia said.

'I think what you do is amazing,' Howie said.

Simon gave him a yes and Heidi Klum, 50, listened to the crowd scream and decided to give him a yes.

Mervin Mayo, who had been a police officer for 19 years, took the stage to sing for the judges. He sang Ed Sheeran's hit Thinking Out Loud. He brought out his wife Michelle on to the stage with him when he finished.

'I love you and I would love hearing from you again,' Howie said.

'It was beautiful well done,' Heidi said.

The judges gave him four yeses.

Aleksandr Batuev's contortion act wowed the judges. He started his act out by climbing out of a small box and then doing back bends across the stage. He then did splits and other contortionist moves that had the audience applauding. He ended his act by getting back into the small box and closing it.

'I can't believe he fit in that box,' Heidi said.

'Absolutely loved it,' Howie said.

'Seriously amazing,' Simon said.

The judges voted him on.

Shane Boyle, 24, who goes as Insane Shane, from South Carolina. He said he was a full-time content creator. He caught ping pongs in his mouth that someone threw at him from the balcony. He kept catching ping pongs in his mouth from across the stage.

'What I loved about this was you weren't expecting this,' Simon said.

The judges gave him four yeses.

Comedian Reuben Solo from Australia said his dream would be to move out of his parent's place. But the crowd and the judges weren't impressed with his act. Reuben got three Xs and then hit the Golden Buzzer himself and then Howie hit his buzzer.

'Reuben can I be honest with you,' Simon said. ' I think you better phone your mom and dad and say you will be going back to live with them.'

Dian returned to the stage to perform his second song this time in Spanish. This time he had a crowd and Sofia dancing.

'It was beautiful,' Sofia said.

'You got the party started in here,' Heidi said. 'I'm so happy that you had that second chance and I think you really nailed it.'

'You came back as a different person,' Simon said.

The judges gave him four yeses and the audience cheered.

Forest of Haunts was the final act of the night. A woman dressed in black popped up and immediately creeped the judges out. She brought Simon and Sofia to the stage.

'I want to go home,' Sofia said after they put a blindfold on her.

Simon picked two balloons and the woman popped the ones he didn't choose over Sofia and gold confetti fell out over Sofia's head. 

The last balloon she popped was full of maggots that went all over the judge's desk.

The judges were shocked and scattered away from the table. 

'That was repulsive but brilliant,' Simon said.

The judges ended up voting them on.

America's Got Talent will return next Tuesday on NBC.
