Katie Price reveals she is set to have MORE surgery in the coming days and her mother Amy fears she has body dysmorphia

Katie Price has revealed she is set to have even more surgery in the coming days after recently going under the knife for her 17th boob job.

The former glamour model, 46, admitted she is not happy with her body as it is and her mother Amy believes she has body dysmorphia.

Speaking to Heat World, she said: 'I'm not content now, I'm having more surgery next week. My mum says I've got body dysmorphia.

'I don't ever look in the mirror and think I look good. I never have done. So, there's obviously an underlying issue.'

Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), or body dysmorphia, is a mental health condition where a person spends a lot of time worrying about flaws in their appearance. These flaws are often unnoticeable to others.

People of any age can have BDD, but it is most common in teenagers and young adults. It affects both men and women.

It comes after Katie showed off the results of her 17th boob job in a strapless leopard print jumpsuit in an Instagram snap on Monday.

The reality star recently underwent more cosmetic surgery at a clinic in Brussels.

Over the years, Katie has undergone an array of procedures, including rhinoplasty, a silhouette facelift, 3D, veneers, lip fillers and Botox

Katie flaunted her slender physique and toned legs while posing for the stunning snap

Earlier this month, Katie documented her breast enhancement on Instagram as she shared a picture in a clinical robe before her procedure.

She penned: 'Been coming here for years and is definitely the best boob surgeon. I recommend to anyone.'

With another selfie, the mother-of-five added: 'First on the list.'

She previously shared her surgery plans with MailOnline, as she vowed to 'never stop' going under the knife.

She announced that her 17th boob job and sixth face lift will take place 'in the next few months', saying: 'I'm just trying to find time to do it. I will never stop with this surgery... I want to be a Bratz doll.'

Hitting back at critics, she continued: 'It's my body and I do what I want to do. That's how it should be, our body, your choice. The difference is I talk about it.

'There's a lot of people out there who hide [what they've had done].'

While Katie has said that she plans to have children with her boyfriend JJ Slater of six months in the future, but insisted she's in 'no rush' to make it happen yet.

Her unfazed social media updates came as her £2million home was being seized by bailiffs, two months after she was served an eviction notice.

It comes after Katie admitted her suicide attempt was 'the culmination of a long breakdown' after she split from her third husband Kieran Hayler.

Katie reflected on the emotional time she tried to take her own life after 'reaching breaking point' following her divorce.

The doting mother, who is in a happy relationship with JJ Slater, admitted herself into the Priory shortly after she noticed she was relying on drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism amid her suicide attempt.

Speaking to You Magazine, Katie opened up to Bryony Gordon about the emotional and difficult time in her life.

She said: 'People don't realise what I've been through'.

They don't know, for example, that she tried to take her own life, as she got divorced from her third husband, Hayler.

'I just didn't want to be here any more. I thought, 'What's the point? No one's here, no one's helping, no one understands what I am feeling.'

'I woke up from it thinking, 'What the f***? I can't do this to my kids.' I was at breaking point.'

Katie went to private hospital the Priory, and realised that the suicide attempt was the culmination of a long breakdown.

WHAT IS BODY DYSMORPHIC DISORDER?

Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), or body dysmorphia, is a mental health condition where a person spends a lot of time worrying about flaws in their appearance. These flaws are often unnoticeable to others.

People of any age can have BDD, but it is most common in teenagers and young adults. It affects both men and women.

Having BDD does not mean you are vain or self-obsessed. It can be very upsetting and have a big impact on your life.

Symptoms of BDD

You might have BDD if you:

  • worry a lot about a specific area of your body (particularly your face)
  • spend a lot of time comparing your looks with other people's
  • look at yourself in mirrors a lot or avoid mirrors altogether
  • go to a lot of effort to conceal flaws – for example, by spending a long time combing your hair, applying make-up or choosing clothes
  • pick at your skin to make it 'smooth'

BDD can seriously affect your daily life, including your work, social life and relationships. BDD can also lead to depression, self-harm and even thoughts of suicide.

You should visit your GP if you think you might have BDD.

If you have relatively mild symptoms of BDD you should be referred for a type of talking therapy called cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), which you have either on your own or in a group

If you have moderate symptoms of BDD you should be offered either CBT or a type of antidepressant medication called a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI)

If you have more severe symptoms of BDD, or other treatments don't work, you should be offered CBT together with an SSRI.
