The couple, who tied the knot in 2010, have jetted off to the Spanish city with their three children to celebrate Elsa's 48th birthday in style.
Spanish actress Elsa, who is from Madrid, took to Instagram on Saturday to share an insight into their epic sightseeing getaway, which was complete with a luxury meal.
In one shot, Elsa and Aussie actor Chris, 40, looked as smitten as ever as they cuddled up to one another while posing on a traditional Spanish street.
Elsa looked effortlessly stylish in a red summer dress and black platform heels for the outing, while she kept her essentials in a lavish $1,600 Loewe tote bag.
She shielded her eyes with dark shades as she wrapped her arm around Chris, who cut a casual figure in a black T-shirt and dark trousers.
The couple were joined by their kids - India, 12, and twin boys Sasha and Tristan, 10 - and Elsa shared an array of family pictures as she documented the trip.

The sporty family also cycled around the city and visited a motocross park, where Elsa filmed as her daredevil son tried his hand at off-road motorcycle racing.
