Steph Claire Smith has opened up about plans to expand her young family.

The fitness influencer, 30, already shares a three-year-old son with husband Josh Miller.

And on Wednesday Steph said she had hopes to give their boy Harvey a sibling.

Steph made her exciting announcement during an episode of her KICPOD podcast with co-host Laura Henshaw.

'We aren't one and done,' she said during a fan Q and A session.

'We'd love to have a second child. It's about working out the best timing for our family at the moment.

'[But we are] super excited [to have another]... if we are lucky enough to have a sibling and grow our family...we'll see.

Steph and Josh welcomed their first child back in May 2021.

The pair married in November 2019 in a festival-themed ceremony along the Murray River, exactly one year after getting engaged at the same location.

The co-founder of fitness program Keep It Cleaner, Steph has frequently shared with fans the challenges she faces as a young mother and business woman.

In January, Steph spoke about the difficulties of parenting he toddler at Christmas time.

She shared an emotional video to social media revealing just how her boy Harvey was turning her family holiday into a nightmare.

'Is your toddler currently in a phase where they like one parent more than the other? Or they're being nice to one parent and then mean to another? Because at the moment Josh is absolutely copping it,' Steph said, her voice trembling with emotion.

'Harvey doesn't want a bar of him and it's quite horrible to watch, and it's been exhausting this holiday.'

The social media star shared another of her many parenting struggles last month  when she uploaded a screenshot of a wellness app page which showed she only got three hours of sleep.

Calling it the 'worst night' she's ever had as a mum, Steph shared a heartbreaking update about her son's sleeping patterns.

'Well that was the worst/most challenging night in the three years of being a parent,' she captioned the graph.

'Got home from the theatre at 11pm, hopped straight into bed. 11:30 Harvey woke from a nightmare, Josh resettled, we thought he was back asleep, ten minutes later he's awake yelling out,' she began.

'Josh tried to resettle but Harvey was set on sleeping with us. So I got into his bed, and 20 minutes later he told me he wanted to go into our spare room, didn't want to sleep in his room. So I did. Only to be awake for another half an hour with him until he was patting me hard and wouldn't stop, honestly like he was stuck and couldn't hear me.'

Steph went on to explain that Harvey was then 'adamant' that if he went downstairs to sleep in his parents' room, he would finally fall asleep.

However, as soon as Steph relocated to her bed with Harvey, things went from bad to worse as the toddler continued to 'kick' them and 'climb on their heads' until he finally settled into sleep at 3.30am.
