Gok Wan fans are convinced he's dating again as TV stylist flies to Madrid with 'good match' Scott - following the death of his best friend Ali to breast cancer

Gok Wan left fans convinced he was dating on Thursday after sharing a handful of photos from his current holiday in Madrid.

The popular TV presenter has jetted to the Spanish capital after revealing he's in 'overwhelming pain' following the death of best friend Ali to stage four breast cancer.

And he inadvertently sparked romance rumours while posing for social media photos with bearded pal Scott, a platonic friend with whom he has travelled to mainland Europe.

In one photo from his current trip, Gok, 49, flashes a beaming smile as he posed alongside hitherto unseen 'travel companion' Scott.

The TV stylist sported a pair of fashionable orange tinted sunglasses and wore a striped jumper around his neck as they posed together.

He sported a navy blue zip-up polo top and showed off his silver fox beard.

Gok captioned the post: 'Madrid you’ve been incredibly hot but very fun. 48Hrs is not long enough but I feel relaxed and very hydrated (hungover). Shout to my travel companion Scott'

Fans of the fashion connoisseur then flocked to the comment section to compliment the star and shipped the pair by saying they 'look good together.'

One fan said: 'You look good together, just saying (love heart eyes emoji); Scott is very handsome, nudge, nudge, Love you Gok (love heart emoji); 'Handsome companion.. little bit of eye candy (love heart eyes emoji).'

Gok's representative has since confirmed they are just friends.

'Ali was the smartest, most courageous, sensitive and kind person any one of us could have had the privilege to meet. In my eyes, she was simply perfect.'

'We spent many years preparing for this moment but no amount of talks or planning could have prepared me for this overwhelming pain.'

'I miss her so much already. Her wisdom. Her smile. Her naughtiness. Her kind touch. Her everything. Al my love.'
