EXCLUSIVEAdele's Munich concert is cast in doubt as superstar cancels her final dress rehearsal over fears of extreme weather - including storms

Adele's concert plans have been called into question after the singer was forced to cancel the final dress rehearsal for her Munich concert over fears of extreme weather, including storms.

The superstar, 36, and her management made the decision to cancel after reports of fierce thunderstorms and heavy rain.

The poor weather has cast doubt on Adele's Munich performance on Friday and fans are no doubt holding their breath after being teased by the singer with snaps of her rehearsals on Instagram.

Concert organisers released a statement announcing that the run-through was cancelled 'Due to safety measures,' but added they hoped it could be rescheduled for later on Thursday.

Organisers are still not confident as the weather continues to look gloomy over the German city with forecasts predicting 'moderate, gusty winds from the west to northwest in some areas' and warns of 'scattered showers or thunderstorms overnight into Saturday, more frequent near the Alps.'

Around 740,000 fans are expected to attend Adele's German show and the singer has shared a sneak peak of preparations for the stadium show.

In a post shared to her Instagram on July 13, the 16-time Grammy award winner sported a high-vis vest and with her back towards the camera looked out across a busy building sight.

She captioned the snap: 'It's all a bit bloody exciting'.

Adele captioned another black and white photo of herself sat in one of the stadium seats, smiling into the camera: 'Ich kann es kaum erwarten, euch am Freitag zu sehen!'.

The German phrase, which translates as 'Can't wait to see you on Friday!', sent her fans wild with many commenting heart emojis and welcoming her to Germany.

The concerns over extreme weather come after the singer revealed she has been training like an athlete for her upcoming shows.

The songstress revealed she has a 'rock solid booty' after training 'like an athlete' ahead of upcoming Munich residency, that will see her walk 'four or five miles a night' on stage.

Adele kicks off her 10-date run at the custom-built Munich Messe stadium on Friday and said she been working out 'like a crazy person' to prepare for playing the 'f*****g enormous' concerts.

Speaking at one her Weekends with Adele Las Vegas shows, she revealed: 'I am back at my gym grind like nobody's business, I am doing two or three sessions a day.

'My a**e is getting rock solid again! I can move mountains with my bum. I have been working out like a crazy person. The reason that I am working out like I'm an athlete again is because that stage is f****** enormous'.

Before adding: 'I am back at my gym grind like nobody's business, I am doing two or three sessions a day'.

Adele has also said that at her own request she had told organisers to built a special stage that would let her connect with the crowd.

Saying: 'I was like "build me a stage out in the crowd", And they were like "Well, we can't get you there unless you walk there on a stage"'

'[So] I think I'll get a good four or five miles in a night, walking. So I really need to get my stamina up!'.
