Jono Castano enjoyed a fun-filled night day out at the pub with his ex-wife Amy and her new boyfriend following his shock split from Simone Holtznagel.

The celebrity personal trainer, 33, confirmed to Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday that he and the socialite, 31, had broken up, nine weeks after they officially parted ways.

And over the weekend, he was supported by his ex-wife Amy, who he runs Acero gym in Kensington with, as they enjoyed a night out at the pub together.

Amy took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday to share snaps of herself and her boyfriend Aaron Evans spending time with Jono and a group of their friends.

In one snap, the trio - who are close friends - all smiled for the camera as they rallied around to support Jono following his break-up.

Amy also shared a photograph of them all with a huge group of friends, as well as video of herself playing darts in the pub.

Jono and Simone recently took their baby daughter Gia, three months, on a weekend trip to Tasmania with Amy and Aaron, proving they were on good terms despite their break-up.

While Jono has been sharing content on Instagram in recent days, his ex Simone has been notably silent on the platform since news of their split emerged.

Just hours after Jono revealed his split from Simone on Tuesday, he went out to dinner at a luxury restaurant with a close friend that evening

He took to his Instagram Stories to share a gallery of snaps from his evening out at the upmarket Parisian brasserie Armorica in Sydney with his friend Edin Zecevic.

The friends enjoyed a bottle of wine and a delicious meal of steak frites as Jono was supported through the difficult time.

Jono also tagged Simone in a post of their baby daughter Gia but she did not re-share the post.

He penned: 'Our little g @simoneholtznagel [love heart hands emoji],' but his model ex-girlfriend did not respond publicly to the post.

Earlier this week, Jono officially confirmed the shock news that he and Simone had gone their separate ways, just weeks after welcoming their first child together.

The fitness fanatic explained that he and Simone had decided to part ways nine weeks ago, around the end of May.

Earlier this week, Jono officially confirmed the shock news that he and Simone had gone their separate ways, just weeks after welcoming their first child together

Jono exclusively told Daily Mail Australia of the split: 'We just decided it was best for her to spend time with her family in Wollongong.

'Who knows what the future holds our idea is just to be the best parents for Gia at this stage.'

Simone is currently staying with her family in Wollongong, while Jono remains in Sydney running his gym Acero, which he co-founded with his ex-wife Amy.

The couple's separation came around nine weeks after they welcomed their first child into the world on Easter Sunday.

Simone and Jono are believed to still be on amicable terms and are focusing on co-parenting their daughter Gia. Simone has not yet commented on the split.

News of their split came just hours after Simone posted a cryptic quote about 'moving forward' and being 'patient' for a 'long time' on her Instagram Stories.

On Monday night, Simone posted a thinly-veiled message about prioritising her own happiness to Instagram in what appeared to be a reference to their separation.

The quote read: 'You shouldn't feel guilty for moving forward if you've given someone multiple opportunities to improve or change, but they didn't.

'Everyone has limits, and it's important to look out for your own well-being. If you tried to help or waited for them to change their behaviour, but things stayed the same, it's okay to choose what's best for you and move on.

'Prioritising your own happiness and peace is essential, especially when you've been patient and understanding for a long time.'

Simone last shared an Instagram post featuring Jono on April 28, where she gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at their first family photoshoot with baby Gia.
